We are going to dominate the Rams today. If you’re scared I question what you’ve been watching all season.

I'm not saying that we will do this, but we CAN beat every single team left in the race... and we did beat several of them this season.

Absolutely.  But the recent games are also a reminder that any team left in the race can have a bad day and lose to any team left in the race.  There definitely aren’t any "how the heck are we going to beat them” games left though.

This is spot on! We can look ahead and be excited to host the NFCCG but it means squat if we don’t win today.

Speaking of meaning squat, I ran into the following the other day and thought it was worth sharing IMG_8542.thumb.jpeg.92359e92738103e02893e419599e1c94.jpeg

I don’t like being a running team, not being more dangerous with the pass, etc etc.  but the nfl is paving the road for the eagles right now.  A consistent, effective running game with limited passing is the exact approach that can and should drive the Eagles to the SB over the next 2 games.

Actually winning the SB?  One game at a time.  We all thought they wouldn’t get through Detroit without high end high volume passing and now that game will be Commanders at home in the elements.

Looking at that 2013 game Stafford was 10/25 for 151yrds and Foles was 11/22 for 179yds.  There were no sacks.

Eagles rushed for 299yrds.  It wasn't only Shady.  Lions only amassed 80yrds rushing.

If it weren't for ST not being able to cover, that game is a complete blowout.

We actually gonna get a snow game ?

I had to look this up…1980 was the only time the Eagles faced a divisional rival in the conference championship game.

Across the entire league, I bet it’s not very common.

Your going to be on a flight, right?

No guarantees for tomorrow. We're the better team at home. The Rams are off a very emotional win.

Play a normal game and we win.

Theres probably several more, but just the ones I know of or remember.

Cowboys/Eagles 1980.

Bills/Dolphins 1992

Ravens/Steelers 2008

Packers/Bears 2010

49ers/Seahawks 2013

49ers/Rams 2021

Found this article from 2022…teams that won the 2nd reg season game are 6-2 in championship game.  Not sure that is a large enough sample size to mean anything.  Eagles likely win that game if Hurts doesn’t get concussion

Couple of red flags.. the fires in LA, the ref, Moores auditions... Not easy.

But still you couldn't have drawn it up any better. Packers, Rams, Commanders.. yes sure playoffs and it's never easy but given the talent on the roster and overall health we should win these home games.

Crazy if it's in the snow but aren't we in a way set up well for snow both sides of the ball?

Feeling this nervous optimistic excitement. 😄🦅

Not happy about all the Daniel's knob slobbing I'm gonna have to listen to this week now.

Get used to it. That kid is the truth and arguably the best QB in the division this year.

Hey guys, long time! Excited for game day and (hopefully) a historic snow game playoff win. There's strong potential for visually iconic moments in the snow today that we remember for decades and that has me even more excited than usual.

We're the better team. We need to play like it though of course. Feeling confident.

Its been entertaining reading so many people criticise the reffing of the Chiefs game.  It won't change anything, but it can't be healthy for the sport when the majority of comments about the game are not focused on the play on the field.

As for today. Do your job. Play hard, make Stafford uncomfortable. etc etc

Hopefully we are all talking about the Commanders matchup tonight...but I don't want to over-analyze them today of all days...but that loss, even after Hurts left the game, took a series of stacked and unlikely events just for them to beat our backup.  It felt like they needed to hit on a parlay just to win the game.  That's why I thought they would be the best possible wild card matchup, let alone conference championship game.
