This is taking forever…

I would rather it be 1. Let’s just get this over with. If they lose we waited for nothing. If they win it just sucks being anxious lol

The girl that my oldest brother married, was actually the founder of the Redskinettes,

Messed that up a tad, it wasn't the girl who was the founder. It was her mother...

The idea that a head coach can get the GM he wants is so backwards. Because the coach would be essentially picking their boss. And then you have a weird dynamic where the GM will feel indebted to the coach for getting him the job, so may not want to fire him if he sucks. The coach should have zero say in the GM. Hire a GM, allow them to pick the coach.

Teams that have done this to success: KC (Reid), SF (Shanahan), SEA (Carroll). Denver and the LA Chargers are also teams where the HC calls the shots. Both made the playoffs.

Something I find really cool, even with everyday people in my life, that I know have money...they drive everyday cars...I think it says a lot about a person that can afford whatever they want, but choose not to flaunt their wealth.

Everyone has the same idea. Sell out to stop Barkley and make Hurts throw the ball. Obvious gameplan

Which would make sense, except that's not really how their D is built. They're a good team but on paper (for whatever that's worth) we're a tough matchup for them.

He probably just drove it because of the snow. Didn’t want to mess up the jag or Benz lol

Sounds like you're stuck in 90s.  Look at every remaining QB in the playoffs with the exception of Stafford.  They are all dual threat QBs.

Yup strict pocket passers are going the way of the dinosaur.

With so many spread RPO offenses pure drop back guys dont have as much value as s guy that can be a running threat on an rpo or a threat as a runner when a pass play breaks down.

And with the rules that protect qbs in and out of the pocket teams arent as concerned with their qbs getting hit

Back in the day a qb starts to Run and the D eyes light up as theyre thinking free hit, now the D doesnt know what to do out of fear of getting penalized.

The league isnt just qb passing friendly the rules also make it extremely qb run friendly

NFL showing a bunch of E-W Rams runs and WR reverses/jet sweeps. Good luck doing that in the snow/wet field.

A North-South game.

that's the blueprint, but it's easier said than done.

You would have loved Koy Detmer then...

Heavy dose of Barkley, Gainwell, and Hurts rushes with the snow.

Playing them has always caused an anxious week for me, but mostly because two of my older brothers were big Redskins fans and I'm 5 and 7 years younger. So you can imagine how THAT was growing up in the 80's with the Redskins winning Super Bowls. They tried their best to get me to turn my back on the Eagles and join the dark side.

When I was in college in Williamsburg they won with the Riggins team.  That was bad enough.  Then, when I lived up in Arlington it was the bandwagon year where they were nearly invincible with all the hogs, Rypien, Monk, Carter, etc.  Guy I worked close with was not only in the Redskins band but he bought a maroon car and a vanity plate that was something like BNDWAGN.  He had four or five Skins hats in the back window.  We also had two wives of players at work and the CEO was a good friend of Calvin Hill (met him at a party which was cool).  It was horrible.

They are tough fans to be around when they are winning.  Otherwise, they more or less disappear.

Yes to all of that, but make sure to make it just ever so slightly raycyst too. That's the secret ingredient.

Yup, williams is a tough runner but hes s bit dinged as well. All that fancy motion misdirection stuff is great in a climate controlled dome, not so effective in the snow.

Puka though is s tough runner after the catch, hes a mudder so we'll see

Special teams will be interesting.  Kick returns are totally possible.  Maybe DeJean breaks one.

Their fans are so fair weather. I was raised a Washington fan. Rooted for them until the year they won the Super Bowl. After that I started rooting for the Eagles and haven’t looked back. I went from a 14-2 Super Bowl team to a 3 win team lol.

I never liked the combining of total passing and rushing yards and TDs for a QB.

It's fine to include those stats if the QB has that ability to run like Lamar, Allen and Hurts do.  But instead of saying a QB has 4,000 total yards and 35 total TDs, break it down to show what they do passing and running.  Show that he has 3,200 yards and 28 TDs passing with 800 yards and 7 TDs rushing.

I thought so. Dirty player. Washington had several dirty hits both times they played Philly this year.

Hurts better not run east west today. One cut and go. Not sure what he was doing last week, but east west he's running in quicksand. He's a different runner north south.

The snow might not be a good thing. Drunk fans and snow balls… more reason for people to hate Eagles fans lol
