Hurts is rendered immobile by the injury.  Don’t call it a benching.  Immobile Hurts in the elements is a dead on arrival.  You’ve got to put Pickett in.

Are we probably going to turn it over and lose in the 4th quarter either way?  Yes.  But it’s written in stone if they keep Hurts in to just watch himself get sacked.

This.  It’s so obvious.  Why are they trying to get cute and calling 5 step drops into our own endzone during a snowstorm and a hobbled QB. 
 

That may have been one of the worst play calls I’ve seen in 35+ years of watching football, given the circumstances.

I agree with that but still. The answer was there. Questionable play call but you have to execute that especially since he knows he’s hurt
