Going to be an anxiety filled week with the Jalen injury!

Burks played well today. Overall I though both lines left a lot to be desired but conditions were crazy so I don’t expect that to repeat itself. Hurts was flat out awful. He’d get a pass for the bad throws because of the snow, but the awful decisions had nothing to do with the snow. That safety was inexcusable and some of the sacks. I’m getting tired of that attitude where it’s like "I just win, you expect too much” but then he does dumb crap. And the one of the reasons the rams had a chance at the end of that game was because of his dumb mistakes.

Sounds like the Eagles are trying to kill the secondary market by charging 3x, 4x regular season face value for the playoffs.

Idk, but I actually think folks are seeing Hurts too critical this time. Yes, he had that boneheaded safety and probably one or two sacks were on him, but the untimely mistakes that came at a time we could’ve put the game away weren’t on him IMO. Two big sacks were on Becton and the play to Goedert was also called back due to Becton.

i agree that he is far from a good passing Qb, but he did enough to win the game and that’s really all I want in the playoffs. Just win baby!

No turnovers is a weird mantra... but he didn't turn the ball over again (thanks to a great recovery by Gainwell), and the Eagles win. 

Stafford had a fumble lost ... and the Rams lost.

 

Eagles were VERY close to losing the game with a +2 turnover margin though...

He hurt the eagles a lot. Killed multiple drives in scoring position with stupid sacks, including a safety which literally made the Rams comeback possible.

Which is crazy considering what the other players did in a second matchup after putting up 200+ on an opponent in the same season.

I wasn't comparing the quality of the backup relative to the starter.

I was comparing the performance you see from a backup when they sub in versus when they have a whole week to prepare to start.

 

 

Let me clarify this for you.

The issue pact our best corner going out against the best QBs in the game the rest kf the way is a greater impact than our 2nd best linebacker going out.
