Next week will be the much easier game.

Rams had a better QB, HC, Defense, WR core than the Commies.

Redskins have the better QB.

I think they still win 11 games or so and win the division without him but yes he’s sensational

There’s no way the eagles have double digit wins without Barkley.

The defense and receivers can get them 7, 8, maybe 9 wins, but there’s no way you get 10+ with Hurts playing as poorly as he did this season and no Barkley.

I'm not sure that team will make anything easy after today.

Without Hurts 44 yard TD run they won't win.  If AJ catches the pass at the end of the 1st half it's not close.  If Jake doesn't miss 2 extra points we aren't sweating it out to that extent at the end.  But sure blame Hurts.

I didn't put the blame solely on Hurts, I said he contributed to the mess, which he did. He had Goedert open on the safety. At some point, he needs to play better, there's nothing wrong with admitting that.

Yup. Cut Hurts' rushing TDs in half at least cause Barkley wouldn't be here to get him to tush push territory

This might have to go in the EMB HOF

People like you did and continue to do something. Stay miserable.

The offense today with Hurts at QB looked like what an offense resembles when a position player emergently needs to come in and play quarterback.  He seriously looked like a position player today.

Hurts can't touch either one of these Qbs.

Nope, both have lasers for arms and while hurts doesnt have a noodle arm he doesnt have a cannon either

I cant recall hurts making a throw on a deep post like lamar just made on that, absolute on a line.

Hurts is good at dropping the long ball in the bucket down the sideline but hes not going to drive any passes into tight windows nor does he have required anticipation to make those throws.

I like hurts but hes limited in the things he can do as a passer and seems the play calling us really limiting him this year as a passer and if his knee limits his ability to run next week it could get ugly.

Don, Hurts could go 5/47 with 15 picks and he still wouldn't say he had a bad game

Here to hear little girls whine about yet another huge Eagles victory! Bunch of pansies 😆 NFCCG! Superbowl goes through Philly. Go Birds!

Understood.  But when mentioning issues with Hurts and the passing game mentioning that he would have likely had an extra 40-50 yards passing and at least 1 TD pass if his #1 WR played at a "normal” level should also be mentioned, no?

Sure.  Every post should include that.

It was a one-score game.  Every block, every tackle, every run, every catch mattered.

Yep.  Same could be said for every negative play, no?

I've noticed. There's nothing wrong with wanting him to be, and play better. I mean, they're not paying to be just good enough.

No I still think they would have found a way to win 11 games. If they don’t sign Barkley, they find another back to at least pair with Gainwell. Maybe even keep Swift.

Brown and Smith have bigger seasons.

If Hurts is "OK to go” but is rendered immobile with a creaky knee, the Eagles need to have a very serious Lurie/Howie/Siri/Moore heart to heart about how viable an immobile Jalen Hurts is as a QB in an NFL game.  I don’t harbor any delusions about McKee or Pickett…but a Hurts that isn’t a threat to run is going to be an absolute crap show.

Eagles don't win with Kenny Pickett at QB.

That's conjecture.

Let's stick to what actually happened.  Your guy did some good things that helped us win.  But also did some bad things that may have cost us the game.

Just accept that he is both flawed and a winner.  Both can be true.  You see flawed heroes all over literature and cinema.  Maybe he'll be played by Damson Idris.

I’m a huge AJ fan.  I just want to see him play at 80% of what he’s capable of and so far we haven’t seen even that in the playoffs.

Yup, like I said I think his knee is more of an issue than hes letting on but D still has to respect him

Wouldnt be surprised at all come seasons end he has surgery to clean it up and nick coach reveals hes been playing hurt

Hopefully he can get right.

Turnovers matter….a lot.

Bill B talked about this last week in an interview. Said the most important thing in the playoffs is to limit mistakes and not beat yourself.

Hurts made some good throws today that were dropped. And as frustrating as some of the sacks are in the moment, they still live to fight another day as long as they don’t turn it over.

So, while I’d love a more effecient game today, I’ll take what we got especially in the conditions.
