Bill B talked about this last week in an interview. Said the most important thing in the playoffs is to limit mistakes and not beat yourself.

Hurts made some good throws today that were dropped. And as frustrating as some of the sacks are in the moment, they still live to fight another day as long as they don’t turn it over.

So, while I’d love a more effecient game today, I’ll take what we got especially in the conditions.

Hurts cost us 2 points with the safety and possibly another 6 points with the stupid sacks.

He had a 44 yard td run. He hit AJ on what should have been a TD at the end of the first half.  He had multiple fre rushers right athim due to blown offensive line assignments.

Team game.  But to hear some talk, its all Hurts all the time.  Which is why the others feel the need to point out the deficiencies in his game.  He's not the type of QB that can put the team on his back and will them to win.  He has an amazing supporting cast around him that for the most part are actually carrying him allowing them to overcome those deficiencies.  The biggest benefit they have with Hurts right now is that he's not turning the ball over.  Add even a single turnover to the other issues and this team loses.  So, we've got that going for us.

 

And we have to hope that the full 53 + PS guys can keep it going for two more games and find a way to defy the odds in today's NFL.  But what the Eagles are doing is counter to the trends of the league.

I think at some point this year the coaches drummed into hurts head how they dont need him to play hero ball smd carry the team they just need him to not hurt the team 

Hes played pretty conservatively all year as has the offense, run the ball dont turn it over, limit mistakes, play good defense.

Its old school ball but its worked when hurts takes care of the ball, him taking stupid sacks though is hurting the team

He’s at least as good. But a different type of challenge. Eagles need to be better about letting him pick up first downs with his legs. (Easier said than done) 

If Washington beats us with a rookie QB and in their first year in a rebuild that will be highly, highly concerning.

Offensive calls were utter crap. Did Hurts audible into them?

lmao, I never said he can't do anything right. You're reading things I never said, and hurting your own feelings. Yeah, he had a 44 yard TD run, which is awesome. The first dropped INT could've made a huge difference early on, then the defense had two more dropped INT's. Despite missing 2 PAT's, Jake came up in the clutch with the 2 FG's they got off of the FF's. Though, they should've been TD's. Was that all on Hurts? No. Some of the play calling was suspect as well. It was all around messy, but like I said when I started this exchange, they won. Really it's all that matters.

Any positive comments in the next 7 days about The Fraud Jayden Daniels should result in an instant suspension. Keep the propaganda in CVON. This is a hate thread, this is not a thread for being shills.

Do the refs pay attention to any of the "pre-game” theatrics that happen during the week leading up to the game - you know, the reason some players may act that way during gamedays?  Just curious.
