We don't even need a top 10 QB, we just need one who can actually be a threat to throw the ball and not turn it over.

You guys do need a deep threat every so often to keep the safety back, today maybe wasn't the day to go deep at all, idk. In the end it didn't matter because SB poppeda couple of long runs and was consistent enough...

Hurts started off good. But quickly reverted.

Foles SB performance might have been one of the single greatest QB performances of any game.  He made 3 or 4 throws that game that most QB’s make once or twice in their career.

Yeah, but if we win the SB then Barkley will have had the best season ever for a RB.

My thing is, if he’s a game manager, fine, but you can’t take stupid sacks in that role!

if you’re Trent Dilfer, it means zero negative plays. It’s not just no turnovers, it’s no sacks because you are hyper aware of the situation and always have a quick out to throw the ball away.

Hurts takes absolutely BACK BREAKING sacks that the rest of the team constantly has to bail him out of.

Some of you are way too unhappy after a playoff win.

Foles will always be associated with our first. No one can ever take that away from him. Saquon will be associated with the most recent, and fresh in our minds if it happens. Both would be equal IMO.

This season was made possible by Barkley. I like Swift last year but he couldn’t out the team in his back.

Damn that sucks. Going to need to attack his replacement for sure.

Baltimore's defense hasn't showed up all year.

Last month of the year they were actually good. Granted not exactly stellar offenses. Last 5 games they gave up just 11.4 ppg. Heck even their last 8 games gave up 15.3 ppg

Yardage loss due to sacks is a team stat for a reason.   Sacks aren’t always the QB’s fault - usually other factors involved, like poor pass protection, bad route running, or great defensive coverage, etc

The "tush push” at a 1 YPC average also doesn’t "add” to a QB’s rushing stats - if anything, it hurts his YPC average.

The tush push adds about 12 rushing TDs to a QBs rushing stats.

Use team passing yards then. The team passed for 128 yards (not anything to write home about either) and lost 60 due to sacks. We passed for net 65 yards. Not good enough, team needs to do better

Henry almost pulled a Barkley

I think the Ravens are the better team. If the Ravens win 1 more game this season, they’re hosting this game. Lost horrible games to the Raiders and Browns.

I am not saying Hurts sucks. I do think he limits the offenses playbook potential with what he doesn't do well, and that is see the field and process reads quickly enough. He has improved some this year but I would be surprised if they call many plays beyond two reads in his progressions.

Hurts is definitely not a top 5 QB in the league, he is middle of the pack, because he can run. His role since the addition of SB this year in addition to the rise of the defense can be equated to Trent Dilfer the year he won a SB with the Ravens...that's just an opinion, one of many here.

I didn’t say you said that. You backed TEWs position, which is exactly that.

Try to keep up if you’re going to jump in on a conversation.

Yes and no, his what ended up being game sealing TD run was 70% on the weather and 30% him being a generational talent.  I said it before the play, 1 slip and the game is over.

That game sealing TD run he did TWICE against the Rams in LA.  Come on, bud.   The Rams' run D was garbage in LA, and it was garbage today.  They stacked the line both times to try to get an advantage, and when the OL finally got that extra little crease, Barkley housed it... twice both times.  No one slipped on the last TD run, same as no one slipped on his final 75+ yard run in LA.  They over stacked the box and got a guy pinned inside and there was no one fast enough to catch Barkley once he got through the initial line of defense.   Barkley saw it before the snap... and we have video evidence that he knew it was going to be a long one before the snap.  No slips required.

I asked AI to give me a great poster of Barkley, the defense, and Jalen Hurts on the road to a championship.

Is Hurts the anchor that is slowing us down?

Hurts is a bad passer.

thats it.

Thats the reply.

If we win the SB, Hurts will have had to play better than he has since 3 Nov.

And you’re a bad poster. So what?

Look at the Buffalo/Raven game and Allen and Jackson struggling, and the conditions aren't as bad as they were in the Linc.

Hurts would have had fine numbers if Brown makes that catch and Becton doesn't leave early on the screen.

Lamar is close to being the best guy to choke in the playoffs. It just keeps happening.

However, if you can’t notice the difference in the way Lamar and Josh Allen pass the football effectively  compared to Hurts, then you’re in denial.   Hurts was disgusting today in the 2nd half, and if you can’t admit that, you’ve got green goggles.

I don’t think anything can take away from Foles’ legendary performance during the Super Bowl run and winning the first Super Bowl in team history - in historic fashion, against an historic team, against the GOAT QB.  He’s in the Hall of Fame for a reason.

That said, when looking at the entire season as a whole, Barkley could go down as having one of the best (or the best season) by a running back (including the playoffs and Super Bowl) ever - including potentially winning Super Bowl MVP.

Both would be historic seasons/players in their own right, imo.

Bills' D is why I'm ok with them getting through to the SB.

Bills can't stop the run, and now their lead is 2
