Well... worst case it would have been dropped or even worse knocked up in the air and picked off like what happened with Jeffery in the SB.

Worst case IF Brown caught it

🤔.

Hey Jalen, get off the EMB and get to work on your rehab and film study for this week.

And since you seem to like to use criticism to shut up your detractors... raise your game.   Shut everyone up.  You don't have to throw for 300 yards... just take care of the ball... hit the easy passes and don't take the sacks.

Well I tried

Uhh...not everything is binary.

And Jalen doesn't suck.  He's limited as a passer.  Some by his own traits and some by the conservative nature of this team.

He has played better.  He can lead us to a championship.  But his is not playing well lately.

He does suck at thinking. Everyone will take sacks, but he has opportunities to throw it into the stands to avoid hurting his team and he locks up like a deer in headlights.

So many times this year including the last two weeks he slides down behind the LOS by the OB line. WTH???? Throw it 3 yards.

Twice he knocked them out of FG range and he took the safety. No situational awareness.

If he wants to play it safe and punt, fine. But why the hell can't he count to three and look to throw it away in important spots???

He’s a game manager with legs that can hurt but he’s a winner.

Saquan should be league MVP. I know they did the voting before the playoffs, but these last 2 games have shown who is leading this team. The fact that a RB is even in the conversation should be enough, but man, Saquan is special.

Matt Stafford went 24-44 for 324 and 2 TDs. Why are we grading on a curve for Hurts playing in the same conditions?

Stafford is a better passer than Hurts. I don’t think you’ll get a lot of arguments there.

Semantics.   He either scores a TD on that play or it results in a TD 99% of the time with this team.

Disingenuous. It's completely separate from the reality of what actually happened on that play in real life vs hurts is good make believe land.

I wonder why the Rams were still able to play almost as effectively?🤔

Because their QB was healthy and ours was not.

Yeah facks. Brown should have caught it for sure. Worst case it would have been on the one.

Still not a TD. Hurts didn't throw a TD ball.  Brown didn't drop a TD on Hurts.  Facks

Uhh because Hurts isn’t and never will be a Stafford. The sacks were bad. The rest was fine. We are asking him to manage the game and not turn the ball over.

He doesn't manage a game well. He actively sabotages games for this offense.

Most underrated play of the game was Rodgers' nifty spin move after scooping the fumble and allowed him to break off a big run. Without that Eagles may have not gotten that FG.

(Should have been a TD, costly false start there)

Stafford is one of the greatest qbs to ever play the game, not in same ball park as Hurts. Doesn’t mean Hurts isn’t good. He’s just not great.

That play, AJ looked like he lost his footing trying to turn while transferring the football in not so ideal conditions.  Honestly the throw looked fine..AJ should have just secured the ball.

He had to stop and turn in the air to adjust for the poorly thrown accidental back shoulder throw that instead should have lead him in to the end zone for an easy catch since he had his man beat.

There is only one goal for a game manager and that is to win the game.  He does that pretty well.

Swore Stafford also had a rib injury.

Must've dreamt it

Carter, Williams and Nolan are all such a force on the line. Even Sweat has been good.

Gotta keep Williams somehow and draft a DE. I'm going to be so mad if they let him go, but I can see it happening.

I want Baun, Williams and Becton all back. Wouldn't mind Sweat back either but I'd assume he's the odd man out. Even Becton may not be feasible to bring back if someone offers big dough, and let's be honest, someone will. The damn Commanders have 100 mil in cap space for example. Huff has to go, not sure if you save anything with him being gone or not.

Definitely edge as a priority in the draft. If Becton leaves, then that also needs to be addressed. We need to continue with high quality blue chip o-line play. I'm not going to be happy with just "getting by" with Steen. Nope, that's not good enough. Steen is excellent depth, and it should stay that way.

Also going to need to find some kryptonite to Daniels. More fast, instinctive, high football iQ, sound tackling, back 7 players. There's some really nice safeties in this draft. Another important cog in Fangios system and that can help mitigate Daniels.

Completing  54% of your passes is anything but "great”.  So obviously the weather affected Stafford as well.

Hurts completed 9 less passes (with 2 bad drops mixed in) but in 24 less attempts.

Given the conditions, I would prefer pass accuracy over pass volume.

That said, the passing game needs improvement - no one is debating that but Stafford’s performance should not be used as a measuring stick, imo.

You mention drops for Hurts but not Stafford. So dishonest.

Stafford being great doesn't take him out of the elements. He was playing on the same field, in the same snow and with the same ball that Hurts was. I was just seeing a trend of posts saying that Hurts grade should change because of the snow. No, it shouldn't. No one is saying Stafford's near INTs were because of the snow.

If AJ catches the long ball, then Jalen picks up 30yds passing there (maybe avoids a horrendous sack later in the series) and gets closer to the Hurts Mendoza line of 175.
