Moore was right. The play worked perfectly. It’s not like Hurts is incapable of making that play. He just didn’t do it because he choked on the football.

Yes true, a lot of those yards came while the Rams were down by a couple scores.

I don't get the appeal of 99% of country singers, but I'm not gonna be all that confused if some players listen like to country music before games.

Stafford also hurt his ribs on the first drive of the game. Hurts injured is knee with 3 minutes left in the 3rd.

I don't think there's any question about it, he was a huge reason for their success and they'll definitely take a big step backwards offensively without him.

Look at the replay.  Dickerson and Jurgens miscommunicate on the protection.  Hurts still had 3+ seconds, though.  Ball has to come out.

Underrated bad part of the game:

May not have mattered, but Sirianni basically just conceded the end of the first half. They had a chance to get into field goal range and let the clock tick down to 3 seconds relegating them to having to attempt some weird play. Not sure what that was about.

Big difference of listening to country music before a game and having this cosplaying guy and his little bird friend in the locker room after playoff wins and now in the tunnel where the team comes out in the biggest game of the year. 

All I know is he dances in front of his side-by-side with the previously mentioned little bird guy after Eagles wins and he wears an oversized hat. This is just me not being a part of the Tik Tok fanbase who likes to see people dance for 45 seconds.

He doesn't trust his QB.

Moore and Jalen are bad for each other. Moore treats Jalen like Dak/Herbert and he's just not that type of QB.

You seem to be missing the point. He's from Philly and a majority of the players obviously like him. If the majority of players on a high school football team in Alabama liked country music enough to have some local country singer lead them out of the tunnel, would it be that weird?

He called a play that had two checkdowns open, including one who was incredibly wide open. I would expect every single professional QB to avoid a safety there.

He needs to, he has no choice. And if he didn't trust him that much they should've just kneeled on it there and went into the half. They let it run down to 3 seconds and then it seems like they were going to try some hail mary or something? It was just weird.

And that will be an interesting dynamic going into the offseason that we'll discuss when we get there(hopefully in 3+ weeks after a parade) but the Eagles basically are paying a guy 250m to be a game manager. They'll take it if they get a parade, but there's no way this was the desired outcome when they gave him that contract.
