It’s a simple opportunity cost analysis. Just because there are other problems doesn’t mean that Hurts and his contract are not a problem.

Jalen is a top 8-12 QB, but if we're not going to use him like one then his contract is a problem. Similar concept to Huff. Huff might be a good 4-3 EDGE, but we don't play him so his contract won't let us resign one of Becton/Milton.

Really good read on VR Training and Eagles and Hurts need to implement it

What's up with Fangio's defense at the ends of games? So good for 58 minutes, then when another team has the ball with a few minutes to go all of a sudden it's the flood gates open. We had 2 games this season where it cost them and almost did yesterday. Not sure if it's a coincidence or trend.

$21 million for a qb? Outrageous. The Rams are only paying...checks notes...Stafford $46 million for this season which...checks notes...seems to have ended not too long ago due to...checks notes...Jalen Hurts.

Stafford is a Super Bowl winner who has hit 5K passing yards in a season and routinely passed for 4K+.

If we had Stafford instead of Hurts we’d be a MUCH better team.

Seeing this makes me think Hurts isn't hurt too badly.  Hope so since we need his running threat.

Hopefully it's nothing too bad, maybe some soreness. The threat of him makes our running game so powerful.   Jalen has really complimented Saquon so well. That was such a cool scene when showed the replay and Jalen and Saquon are talking.  They knew he was going to break one and Saquon said "Watch this" and he was gone 70 yards.   I hope he's Ok because it looked painful.  He was clearly in pain and played like warrior out there especially in those conditions.

🤣 Real

I give Hurts a C for yesterday.  Averaging out a B for the first half and a D for the second half.

I also think the terrible conditions were a big problem for him.  He doesn't have the laser rocket arm of Stafford (or others).  He relies on good footing and mechanics to pass, which became a problem in the second half elements.

It was really cold and no huddle. A good combo to wear out a defensive line

Someone's feeling a little left out today

His entire account is basically shitting on people for not doing things as great as him while talking about how great he is, and then when someone points out something he didn't do great or an organization didn't do great with him running the show, responding with "Oh how ignorant you are"

Hurts is not a top 12 QB. This is fantasy world stuff. But the comparison to Huff is appropriate, I’ll give you that.

I can never tell when you guys are just F'ing around or if you really think that pic is from today.

Uhh because Hurts isn’t and never will be a Stafford. The sacks were bad. The rest was fine. We are asking him to manage the game and not turn the ball over.

Yep, the sacks and especially the safety is what made the game bad.

27 dropbacks and 65 net passing yards

That ****!  He stole my account!!

He'll just get sacked 1.75x faster

Another thing I noticed yesterday is that during almost every commercial break, Jake was on the field practicing his kicking motion. He looks like a golfer who lost his swing trying to find it again. Scary stuff and the missed XPs have gotten out of control.

I think Fangio goes to a soft prevent too early.  That cost us the Falcons game and possibly the 2nd Commies game.  And almost cost us yesterday.  Going prevent / soft on the 2nd to last drive was a huge mistake.  There was still far too much time on the clock and the Rams had all their timeouts.

Disingenuous. It's completely separate from the reality of what actually happened on that play in real life vs hurts is good make believe land.

You're the most disingenuous poster here. Funny you would make that comment. I'm really sorry Hurts boinked your mom I guess I'd have a vendetta too.

Now that the stroke symptoms have worn of gosh damn we are lucky to be playing next week. I have no idea what is going to happen, but one freaking game away.

Any news yet on the injuries?

That's a great idea, but there's no way in hell he "made VR training a condition for any team drafting him".  He was always going #2 to Washington.

And yet it’s still too high given his production. If he’s going to be a 180 passing yards per game guy, he should be paid backup money, not top 20 starter money.

You're going to just totally leave out his running ability and his leadership ability?  He's clearly in the top 20 and slotted just where he should be for this year and next.

The prevent.  A sieve.  We should stop using it.

Elliott and Gonzalez are going to put on a real kicking clinic this Sunday.

I thought those accolades weren't released until after the season? He really got ROTY?

I actually wondered the same thing. Nate Burleson discussed this rule with SpongeBob and Patrick last week

I was wondering also because he wasn't going forward he was going backwards
