The fans will bring that energy at the start of the game.  Then the burden falls on the players to keep that energy ignited.  The crowd can't generate it from nothing once the game starts.  They need a reason to get whipped up.  

Underrated story line - Zach Ertz playing in Philly for the NFCC. So weird to me. I thought he was dead to rights years ago, but he’s been a weapon for them since they played us the 1st game.

That and the punt return were both critical plays that went against us - gave Mahomes 14 points. Not going to win many against him doing that 

Outside of that one play, Hurts was great that day and for me - made up for the mistake. I pin that loss mostly on Gannon and the D.

The way I look at it is you dont get to have it both ways. If you want to call out Hurts poor play despite the team winning (like the last 2 weeks) , then you have to acknowledge that despite that one poor play, the SB loss is not on him. Equally if you want to praise Hurts for 'leading the team to a win' the last two weeks despite being carried by the team, then you cant also excuse him for the SB loss because they lost despite him playing great in that game. I tend to more be in the first camp.

Terrible loss yesterday. The Eagles should have won like KC and Buffalo who's MVP QBs barely passed for over 100 yards. Maybe next year I guess.

If he's being dragged along and sucks, how come Eagles couldn't hold a nice lead when he left the game vs. Commies and went in the tank? That game probably isn't even close with Hurts in the game. Can't they drag Pickett too?

Need to collapse the middle and hold the edges rather than rush from them.  Just my two cents.  I would have a very controlled pass rush.  Go bananas in the middle but hold on the edges. 

Also, aggressive AF on downs 1-2, slow it down a tick on 3-4 when he looks to extend.

Re. free agents - I have a sneaky feeling they may go after Khalil Mack who will want to cement his legacy with a legit contender. He is a free agent and has history with Fangio. Can dobule up in that vetran leader (Graham) and take a lot of Sweat's snaps next year. Then you have Hunt, highly drafted rookie and Huff rounding out the group. The rookie and Huff compete for playing time as the 4th guy in rotation.

Trade Huff for pennies on the dollar, let Sweat walk, BG retires and roll with Nolan Smith, Jaylx Hunt, Khalil Mack and a high draft pick.

I agree the game isn’t close with Hurts in the game because the Eagles actually scored 33 points that day. With Hurts still in, they probably get blown out based on how the defense played that day. 

Unless you’re insinuating the defense played bad because of Hurts being injured, which would be the most ridiculous take ever. I also wouldn’t be surprised, based on the Hurts slobbering I continue to see. He’s not good. There isn’t a debate. 

Also, I really want to win a SB with him, but this team is dragging his ass to the finish line right now.
