That you ride the best player in the NFL until his legs fall off and you will win, unless your QB screws it up, so don't let him do anything... except run the ball.

And your personal assessment of that strategy is?

Is that Rickie Ricardo on the call?  He's great.   I just wish I knew what he was saying.  "Saquon a la casa!"

God please make these stupid interviews stop.

Having his name misspelled is absolutely the highest level of respect to be garnered on the EMB.  And if the EMB is a microcosm of the real world, how much more when ESPN does it?!

I've gone through my life with my name being misspelled approximately 90% of the time.  It really isn't a big deal.

My wife has never even witnessed Brian Dawkins play football, and she is now the biggest fan of the guy ever, starting  after his HOF speech.  My favorite player of all time. That dude just hits different.

.  I am very good about not shaving the time, but the halftime clock starts about 15 seconds after the horn.  It would be less than that, but I think anything faster than that would be disrespectful.

I get it...

For the sub-varsity games do you set the half time for the same length as the quarter? I LOVE that. They do that in one of the conferences I cover frequently, but not in the conference my own school plays in. So it really grates my gears when Im at my school and every half time is 10 minutes regardless...

6 minute junior high quarters with 6 minute half time- beautiful.

They won.  They didn't run where they should have, even with as much as they ran and they've handcuffed their QB to the point of being scared of messing up.  And he still managed to mess up.  The plan is working, I guess, because they won... barely.

Washington has the best offense left in the playoffs.

They will be more of a challenge for our defense than either KC or Buffalo.

We get by them and I like our chances to get #2.

same. Im quite confident in the super bowl win. We just need to get there, which is going to be tough.

I think your definition of disingenuousness is self navigating.  But, I'll cop to enjoying your trolling at times because I have a lot of respect for PTs.  Deep down inside of you is a good person who doesn't ride the coattails of talented Orthopedic surgeons the way Hurts does the Eagles roster.

please do not respect me. I am not a PT.

Trade Huff for pennies on the dollar, let Sweat walk, BG retires and roll with Nolan Smith, Jaylx Hunt, Khalil Mack and a high draft pick.

Would you rather have one more year of BG or a year of Mack?

I'd really like to have 3 more years of Milton Williams, but is that asking too much?

10 minutes for JV.  6 minutes for freshmen, but I don't do those games anymore.

But, I don't have the authority for the halftime length.  That comes from above my pay grade.  And the varsity coaches want the JV players to get used to the 10 minute half time.  Doesn't really matter though.   Varsity game starts when it is scheduled to start, no matter when the JV game ends.

Its a holiday.  Most people are not working today ... same as a normal weekend.

I don’t even understand what you guys are arguing about.  College football has never had a championship this weekend ever because of the new playoff system.

Yeah... and its a crazy day to have a game.  3 weeks after New Years Day.  Just nuts.  They didn't need the long delays between rounds.

I really think they should let athletic trainers be in charge of how things are timed.

Alright, real talk for a second.  Hurts haters, set it aside.  Hurts humpers, set it aside,

1.  Hurts haters accept that a Jalen Hurts healthy to play but not healthy enough to run is still going to get the start.

2.  Hurts humpers accept that it is very difficult to win an NFL football game against anyone with a Jalen Hurts that cannot run.

So how do we get around that?

1. Pray that he can run.

2.  Howie needs to get involved.  Siri doesn’t have the mandate.  They need to have a quick hook.  For the humpers, it’s more about the injury than anything else, not "benching.”  But they need an honest and constant evaluation of whether or not he’s viable with that knee.  They can beat the Commanders with a backup qb if they have to.  They can’t do it with a 50% Hurts.

Counterpoint.  IF Hurts can play but cannot run, then we get pocket passer Hurts.  And then maybe, just maybe we see under center and 3 step drops with quick throws.  He CAN do it. We have seen him do it.

No he can't

If he can't run then there is zero reason to start him. His run threat is his biggest benefit to this team, including helping Barkley.
