College football f'ing blows.  Sad what an over produced sham of a sport it is now.

Games are 7 hours long, none of the players give two ishs about their school, you can't even keep track of who's on the team from one month to the next, and only about 4 programs can actually win the thing anyway, so why would I care about this at all?

And I'm from a state with no pro teams, raised on college sports. It's dead

If you can't beat your rival or even play in your conference title game than why do you even deserve to be in the playoffs. This title Ohio is about to win will be remembered as the team that lost to a bad bad Michigan team every Ohio fan knows it.

Take it easy on me. We lost to your team lol.

I wish he got back into the organization somehow in an evaluation or management type role. Something went down last time he was in a management role and he resigned.

Me too. If I remember correctly, he was still part of the front office when we won the SB. I can’t think of anyone that deserves a ring more than him.

I love college football not nearly as much as I used to. It sucks what it's become.

Geez, that's not even right. That poor man has a family that was forced to watch this in real time.

Kind of irritates me when people compare Kelce to Dawkins.  Obviously, both have big personalities that made them more high profile than even their perennial probowl status, but like you said, Dawkins hits way better for me.

It’s not even close for me. I’m 43. I don’t know if it’s an age thing, but Dawkins was so much more impactful for me as a football fan growing up.  Let me know when a safety like Dawkins ever exists again in the NFL. It probably can’t happen. I love Kelce. He is probably 1st ballot HOF, but what’s funny is we haven’t skipped a beat with Cam Jurgens.

I think last week or week before someone said that Ohio state fans would feel bittersweet about winning a natty because they lost to Ohio state and I still think it's the dumbest thing I've ever heard, I don't care how much if a rivalry it is. That would be like us winning the super bowl and being bummed because we got swept by the cowboys in the regular season.

Who gives a F? "Congrats on winning your national championship in week 6, we'll take the real one"

We've also been fed way too much Jason Kelce since he retired. Enough already.

Yeah I’m sure all the Ohio state fans around the country (a disgusting amount of them live in Charlotte) will be upset about slaughtering every single team on their route to winning a national championship.  They’re the best team in the country, and it’s not even close.

I can’t even end it there. Are you seriously suggesting that they shouldn’t be in the playoffs?

Not sure you know Ohio fans.

They didn't win their conference and lost to their rival so I am saying the 12 team playoff has watered down cfb that the titles are just meh

Yeah I don't get it either.

National championship is 100x more important than beating your rival during the regular season.

To compare the two is just downright stupid and you don't understand the rivalry from Ohio St side.

They will win tonight and when Day loses his 5th straight in Michigan next year the fans will call for his head. That will happen

Notre Dame coming back now to make it a 31-23 game.

Bad clock mgmt by ohio st

Compared losing his Dad by suicide to losing to Michigan, but sure Eagles Cowboys is similar

"We’ve felt what it’s like to not win this game. And it’s bad,” Day told 10TV’s Dom Tiberi on GameTime with Ryan Day. "It’s one of the worst things that’s happened to me in my life, quite honestly. Other than losing my father and few other things — it’s quite honestly, for my family, the worst thing that’s happened. So we can never have that happen again, ever.

Yea, that's Fing idiotic I don't care how bad you think your rivalry is. So you're happy with a 1 win season if that one win is Michigan? Dumbest ish I've heard in my entire life

Hey nimcompoop, again you don't understand Ohio St fans. Not sure what to tell you that you don't understand the rivalry

I understand just fine, they're a bunch of brain dead idiots. Not that hard to put together. Comparing losing a football game to losing a parent is probably the most idiotic thing I've ever heard.

Hurts is not a top 12 QB. This is fantasy world stuff. But the comparison to Huff is appropriate, I’ll give you that.

Come on TEW, lets get real

Washington - Daniels is better
Dallas - Dak is not
Giants - ??? is not
Bucs - Mayfield is better
Falcons - Pennix is not
Saints - ??? is not
Panthers - Young is not
Lions - Goff arguably is better
Vikings - Darnold is not
Packers - Love is a push with Hurts
Bears - Williams is not
Rams - Stafford is better
Seahawks - Smith is a push with Hurts
Cardinals - Murray is not
Niners - Purdy is not

So in the NFC 4 QBs are better, 2 are a push, and 9 are not better.

Buffalo - Allen is
Miami - Tua is a push with Hurts
Jets - Rodgers no longer is
Pats - Maye arguably is
Texans - Stroud arguably is
Colts - Richardson definitely is not
Titans - ??? Is not
Jaguars - Lawrence arguably is not
Ravens - Jackson definitely is
Steelers - Wilson arguably is not
Bengals - Burrow definitely is
Browns -  ??? Definitely is not
Chiefs - Mahomes definitely is
Chargers - Herbert is
Broncos - Nix arguably is
Raiders - ??? is not

So AFC has 7 that are better, 1 that is a push, and 4 that are not better

Grand Total 11 are better, 3 are a push, and 13 are not better

I know so many "diehard” Ohio State fans that are from Ohio and they are all insufferable.  Not one of them gives a rat’s hairy fartbox about losing to Michigan when they win tonight.  And nobody will be calling for Day’s head.

Tell that to @PackerNation He ran out of town with his tail between his legs.

With Toth on the active roster, he fills the role of "insurance center". Not that he's any good either, of course.

Good point

Would be kinda funny if Ohio St fired Ryan Day tomorrow.

"Well Ryan you won the national championship for us but you lost to Michigan so we have to let you go.  Chip Kelly will take over the program"
