Hurts and Moore been playing possum all year. If they make it to the Super bowl they're unleashing the SUPER AIR RAID and hurts is gonna be slangin it

They definitely are not playing possum .  That said, I am expecting them to have a pretty decent passing attack if they do make the Super Bowl. Playing in a dome with 2 weeks of planning is a little bit different than playing outdoors in the cold/wind/snow.  I’m not saying they would light it up, but I would expect it to look a bit different.

Change things up during the BYE like Bill did vs the Birds back in the day going from a 3-4 to 4-3?

They remember the second meeting but not the first for some reason.

Well the first meeting was close the whole game until mid 4th. But I think we dominate this game. Win by double digits

Re Slay and HOF:

+ He was a great trade and addition and has been really good here

- By the eye test, I don’t really feel like HOF level good describes his body of work here.

+ Any time someone has been to SIX pro-bowls, you do have to have the HOF discussion.

- Has he really been to 6 pro-bowls?  He really didn’t even play well last year (not that anyone else did either) and he is getting credit for that as an alternate.

So return in the Mack…

I can so see Fangio convincing Howie to go after him and reuniting them. Be the vetran leader for next years group .

Looking right at him, too .... which is the strange part in a lot of Hurts' clips.  He seems to see the target (at least should) but for one reason or another doesn't let the ball go.

Incorrect, the more I've seen of this play broken down the less I think it's on Hurts.

That was his check down and not realistic to expect him to get that ball there in time with an immediate pass rusher in his face

I don't know.  He'll be 34.  I suppose if Graham doesn't return for one more season I could understand it.

Yeah, plan would be to replace to Graham and Sweat with Mack and a high draft pick. Noaln, Mack, Hunt, Rd1/2 rookie, Huff or another rookie.

I hope everyone realizes old players that come to Philly never have anything left in the tank. Even if they're coming off of a still very effective season.  They bust here.  Every.  Time.

Why do we want Khalil Mack???

That 2017 team Blount, Torrey Smith and Chris Long.  2022 had Lincal Joseph.

Suh and Joseph were all good in the 2022 run

Suh gave us solid production.

@Joe Ball

Is this a live look into the psyche of every real Cowboys fan?

Possibly, at least those who have a hard time accepting reality and setting realistic expectations. I would say it’s my psyche every year once they’re out of contention and will be until they reverse this trend of mediocrity.

I think I’m able to manage my disappointment well because I’m a fan of the game first, team second. That’s why I don’t get too excited or bent out of shape when officiating or other uncontrollable events impact the outcome of a game, it’s just part of it. The front office stuff is what drives me bonkers. Luckily for me I can come here and talk football with you guys to get my fix and still feel engaged with the game, which by the way I really appreciate, so thank all of you who engage with me and put up with my nonsense at times. Like this long a$$ response to a simple question 😂.

That’s a pretty good bit this guy does, although I don’t think he’s nearly as good as Annie Agar. Not to mention, she’s hotter than donut grease, and funny also.

That is freaking cool. Saquon looks ridiculously faster than Shady though. Maybe players in general are just faster across the board now.

His career accomplishment is one all pro team and one year as co-leader for INT’s.

Meanwhile Eric Allen made 2nd team all pro 3 times and has almost double INT’s Slay does and he can’t even get in.

One of the ironies associated with INTs is that lock down CBs almost always have low INTs because the opposing teams don’t throw in their direction.

McCoy wasnt really known for his break away speed. It was his insane agility/shiftiness/quickness in small areas and ability to cut on a dime

Wonder if this is accurate

Another interesting post from him

Sure but Slay would have the fewest INT’s of any real full time CB in the HoF. He’s certainly not the best lockdown CB ever.

Darrelle Revis was a true lockdown corner and he still has 3 more career INTs than Slay

If Eli can be in the hall then Slay can too.

C'mon people, let's be real. Darius Slay is not a HOF caliber corner. He's a good player who's had a nice, long career. Credit to him for that but let's not elevate him to some level of greatness that he never reached.

Troy Vincent was a better player and he's never sniffed it.
