I also hope to see more deep shots on Sunday, especially if Lattimore follows Brown again. Doesn't show up in the stat sheet but AJ drew two huge DPI's (even though one was OPI).

Rush 4, play zone, make Daniels beat you by executing step by step.

I’m pretty sure cause I’ve heard it in other podcast that Daniels in week 11 was also dealing with rib injury. Thursday night as well.  The Eagles have to keep their lane integrity when they rush. Daniels is going to run if you give him a lane. You can’t just blindly run up there and create a massive hole because he’ll see it takeoff and take the 20 yards. To me it feels like when the Eagles played Atlanta back in the 2004 nfc championship game. Make Daniels have to beat you from the pocket like you wanted to do with Vick. Granted think Daniels is a better passer than Vick but if I’m going down it’s not with him running and creating outside the pocket.

Nope.  He would run right past every ball carrier.  And if he did make contact, it would end up in a penalty.

Come on now - that's been a thing with him only this season, as far as I remember - and the most likely reason is that he's "hyped" to finally get some playing time.  Before he got hurt last season, he really showed flashes out there.  Granted, he made some rookie mistakes but that's what rookies do.   He can seem somewhat "raw" at times but the only way to overcome that is through practice and yes - some on field playing time.

This is also their 4th straight road game

I have bad news, LMGM....I feel good about this game. It's going to be ugly, and nothing is guaranteed, but I think Vic will have them ready. Their guard being out isn't going to help them contain Carter. I think Smith will be better prepared to contain this round, and the secondary like Slay and Mitchell are going to be out to make a point. They will score, but they will not be marching up and down the field especially with CJ back in the game. Before he went out they had them pretty well contained. Vic watched the tape from their last two games. He watched the tape from a few weeks ago. Adjustments are coming and that defense is going to be pissed off and fired up in front of that crowd.

The offense is going to feed off that energy. All week KM has been feeling the pressure from the horrible designs and calls he made last week. Hopefully, they won't over compensate too much and stick to the run, but I expect more quick throws, especially with Hurts being injured. Hurts is crap as a QB, but he's a pretty unshakable guy, and I expect the injury and the noise to dial him in more.

There is no snow to screw with Brown's vision and two weeks ago they went through a top 10 GB defense. So we are supposed to believe that the Washington defense who just gave up a few hundred yards to Detroit is going to come into that stadium and shut Barkley down? We are supposed to believe that defense is going to handle a pissed off Eagles OL out for revenge for the dirty crap last game and all the chatter this week about the Commies?

There is a train of anger, violence, and payback coming their way. We may all stroke out, but at the end of the day they will get the job done, and a few of them are going to the blue tent.

Cowboys fans are waiting for the season to finish so they can early celebrate being the next SB champs from Feb till about early Oct when reality will set in 🙂

I would send a blitz or two early on to send pressure/possibly sack him. Then fake him out with showing blitz and drop into coverage later.

Pretty sure those two don't like each other based on their back and forth last game.  Should be an interesting matchup to watch - I would guess Brown is ready to finally have an "AJ Brown" type game again - plus it's the NFCCG - I'm sure he won't be doing "too much" reading on the sidelines in this one - just a guess.

Obviously that (should go) both ways.  Looking at you, Daniels...

The rib injury happened on 10/20/24 in their game against Carolina -- Mariota finished that game. After that Daniels played the Bears (win on Hail Mary; 21/38, 326 yards and 1 TD), beat the Giants at home (15/22, 209 yards, 2 TDs) and then lost to the Steelers at home (17/34, 202 yards). So, in the 3 games after the injury, he played well against 2 bad teams and was mediocre against the one good defense he faced. The game against us was 11/14/24, so 25 days later and 4 games after the injury and he was 22/32 for 191 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT. Was he still dealing with the ribs? Probably to a degree, but the bigger issue seemed to be his numbers dip when playing better defenses.

Looking at him and the team down the stretch, they lost to Dallas after us (LOL), and then ripped off 5 straight wins to end the season. Routed Tennessee with Daniels throwing 3 TDs and 1 INT, barely beat the Spencer Rattler led Saints thanks to NO missing on a 2pt conversion to win (25/31, 226, 2 TDs), beat us, beat Atlanta in overtime because the Falcons screwed up the last drive and missed a 56 yard FG to win the game (24/36, 227, 3, 1) and then beat Dallas but only scored 3 points in the 1st half while Daniels was in (Mariota led them to win). They beat Tampa on a last second FG, and Daniels was good (24/35, 268, 2 TDs) and then we all saw them light up Detroit.

Long way of saying -- people are acting like Washington has been on fire and the last 7 games were all like the Lions game. The truth is they have been squeaking by and then crushed Detroit.

Watch Moore come out and shock everyone by having Hurts throw 50 times. 😆

That would actually not surprise me at all

Well, maybe 50 times.   But we still have that "we're smarter than everyone gene"

Dirty bunch of SOBs. Someone needs to take a run at Daniels. That needs to be all over the Eagles locker room.

I try not to be a homer with awards but the PFWA gave Brad Holmes the executive of the year award. He basically added two good players to the roster in Carlton Davis and Z’darius Smith. It’s a joke that he would beat out Roseman.

Gotta stop going by the awards that are driven by bias and agendas and ignoring them and just start doing your own. Or better yet, just go by mine. Mine are the best and most accurate.

It mostly worked out fine until I created a glitch in the Matrix by defending Hurts during the game...then things went to hell fast

I'm hoping he's mostly referring to the "nonsense Twitter haters" out there - from what I recall, most of the Philly media has spoken highly of him.

Tbh i think the commanders looked as great as they did offensive cause lions defense was just done. Also if your pass rush isn’t solid and bring him down you are in trouble against Daniels . really the niners down a ton of guys really took it to the lions. GB and Buffalo put up points on them. Only team that really didn’t down the stretch was bears and Vikings. Frankly Vikings offense felt like they blew their last wad and had nothing on defense even with the bye week. If the lions didn’t get turnovers that defense was going to give up yards and points. Frankly think the commanders defense is similar. If they don’t get turnovers they are gonna give up points and yards. Frankly on defense we need to keep them out of 3rd and 3 or less. Cause they’re gonna go for it on 4th. Meaning if it becomes 1st and 15 or 20 don’t allow it to become 3rd and 4

What is he doing when blitzed?  Running?  Throwing it his "hot read"?  Throwing it his "check down"?  That's what I would be looking at if I wanted to blitz.

Considering Hurts either slides, goes out of bounds or scores on the vast majority of his runs - is he implying they are going to hit him illegally?

You missed the part where he was referred to as "disgraced gambler" or something like that in an article.
