Nah, that's just Lane responding to a reporter's question

Nolan 1, Stewart 2, pretty easily. Then trade back. I'm not taking a TE in round 1 whatsoever. Jackson to me is more of a 2nd round player.

Might go a totally different direction at TE, and draft a big blocking Y that won’t compete much with AJ/Smitty for targets. Jackson Hawes, GT, 4th round? Just leaning into what this team has become.

So Jayden Daniels wore a Mcnabb Jersey growing up and he wears #5. Now he has to play us, this is wild.

Hopefully, he’ll play some air guitar, puke, throw worm burners, and essentially choke the game away.

There was a time when he was a more or less serious poster. Now it’s a shtick. I think Hurts stole his girl, crashed his truck, and ran over his dog.

Or he just became jealous of RTK.  Both of their posts are superfluous at this point.

I already went 3 days.

You credited him for a few things that aren't really true so it was a biased take labeled as "moderate". Again,  the truth is not in the perceived "middle". Get to the truth.

In one of the early home games this year (I can't remember which), I watched Gates during warmups doing shotgun snaps. It was quite the adventure. Multiple snaps went sailing wildly, so much so that it became downright scary thinking he could actually be called upon in a real game.

Flash forward to the season finale against the Giants. Gates played center and naturally several of his snaps were errant. What I had seen earlier in the year was confirmed.

There is NO FREAKING WAY I would want Gates to be playing center the rest of this season. If Jurgens can't play, I think the only reasonable approach would be to put Dickerson at center and Steen at left guard. Even if Gates were able to manage 90% of his shotgun snaps correctly, it's the 10% that can derail scoring drives. The risk is simply too severe.

TLDR...Gates can't be trusted to execute shotgun snaps.

He played the last game of the year and snapped the ball over tanners head and hurts is shorter than that

It's not a shtick. When he has a good game I say so. There was a time this year that I applauded his performance.  Some people noticed.  Probably everyone forgot.  I call it straight during games.  And throughout the week,  I try to help people see the truth.

Oh yeah?  What wasn't true?

Quote

HazletonEagle had been an Eagles fan for as long as he could remember. From the moment he first heard the thunderous roar of the stadium during his first game, to the wild celebrations after the Super Bowl victory, he was all in. His entire wardrobe was green and black, from jerseys to scarves, even socks. He knew every stat, every play, and every player on the team. He would argue with anyone who said anything bad about his Birds, even if they were right.

But there was one thing that HazletonEagle couldn’t ignore. No, it wasn’t the team’s performance or their chances of winning another Super Bowl. It was something a little... more personal. Something that he wasn’t proud of admitting, but the truth was undeniable: He couldn’t stop feeling jealous of Jalen Hurts.

It wasn’t because Hurts was the star quarterback of the Eagles or because of his phenomenal leadership and on-field presence. No, it wasn’t his football skills that HazletonEagle felt jealous of (though those were, admittedly, impressive). What gnawed at HazletonEagle, deep in his chest, was the fact that Hurts seemed to have everything else—and then some.

You see, HazletonEagle had always thought of himself as a relatively confident guy. He’d never been the tallest or the most athletic, but he wasn’t exactly short on charm or charisma. However, as Jalen Hurts entered the Eagles' world, HazletonEagle couldn’t help but notice the attention Hurts was getting—not just for his incredible football abilities, but for his presence. There was something about Hurts that turned heads in every room he walked into. He had a confidence, a swagger, and, well, there were rumors—whispers in the locker room, in the bleachers, and even on social media—about how Hurts was "blessed” in ways that went beyond just his athletic ability.

It started innocently enough. A few fans would joke about it. "Man, Hurts not only has the arm strength but the other strength too,” they'd laugh, nudging each other. At first, HazletonEagle laughed along, not thinking much of it. But over time, the whispers grew louder. Every time someone mentioned Hurts, it wasn’t just his touchdowns they were praising. It was his "physical stature." Suddenly, everyone seemed obsessed with how well-endowed Hurts was, and, well... HazletonEagle couldn’t help but feel a little insecure.

He wasn’t used to comparing himself to anyone, let alone a guy like Jalen Hurts. But, for some reason, every time he saw Hurts on TV, scoring touchdowns or doing interviews, he also imagined the looks Hurts got from the fans, the media, and even the occasional cheerleader. It seemed that Hurts’ physical "gifts” were just as much a part of his appeal as his leadership on the field.

HazletonEagle tried to laugh it off. He’d always considered himself a true Eagles fan—one who cheered for the team regardless of the individual stars. But, in the back of his mind, a little voice kept saying, "What if you had a little more of that... presence? What if you could get noticed like that?”

The jealousy began to creep in. He’d catch himself staring at Hurts in interviews, wondering how he could possibly be that perfect, that confident, that well-liked. It wasn’t just his success on the field—no, it was the whole package. The swagger, the charm, and of course... the rumors.

One day, after a particularly intense Eagles game, HazletonEagle found himself at a local bar, watching Hurts’ post-game interview on the big screen. The crowd around him was going wild, chanting Hurts’ name, and there it was again—another comment, another joke about Hurts’ "other attributes." This time, the comment came from a guy HazletonEagle knew well—another long-time Eagles fan.

"Man, Hurts has it all,” the guy said, raising his glass. "The arm, the legs, and... well, you know. He’s a legend in every way.”

And for the first time, HazletonEagle couldn’t keep his thoughts from running wild. He looked around at the cheering crowd, at the way people adored Hurts, and suddenly he felt a pang of envy. He wasn't just envious of Hurts’ ability to lead the team; it was everything. The total package. Hurts had a life that HazletonEagle had only dreamed of—on the field and off.

But then, something clicked. HazletonEagle took a deep breath, realizing that the kind of admiration Hurts received was something earned. Hurts wasn’t just a great quarterback because of his physical gifts; it was his dedication, his work ethic, and his leadership that made him the icon he was. It wasn’t about size, stature, or any of that superficial stuff. Hurts had earned his place—not just as a player but as a person who commanded respect and admiration from all.

HazletonEagle smiled to himself. Sure, Hurts had that extra bit of... presence, but that didn’t mean HazletonEagle couldn’t be proud of who he was, too. He was still a die-hard Eagles fan—he still wore his jersey with pride, cheered for his team, and lived and breathed every game. Maybe he wasn’t the star quarterback. Maybe he didn’t get all the attention. But he had something just as important: his unwavering support for his team and the love for the game.

And from that moment on, HazletonEagle decided that he didn’t need to be Jalen Hurts. He just needed to be the best Eagles fan he could be, in his own way.

And if that meant cheering a little louder, well—so be it.

The end.

I would be very happy to get either Nolan or Stewart in Round 1 and then Jackson in Round 2 and a TE in Round 3 with Elijah Arroyo from Miami being a possibility there.

Do we still do predictions around here? If so I'm going with Wash 35-33 Eagles

I backed off from recording the predictions due to family health reasons.  I m going to continue to refrain from doing them for the foreseeable future.

If we win it all this year, I wouldn’t be opposed to trading him for 2 1sts and a 3rd. Draft receiver high this year.

There is no truth … only opinion, and opinions vary.

Probably the best pod for football and they mentioned during DC win streak that DC is 27th in EPA per play when teams don't blitz Daniels. Really interesting stat

Of course they vary... Opinions are based on information gathering, and the person's ability to interpret it. The ability to gather and interpret information determines the validity of the opinion. When the validity is lacking based on a persons lack of skill, or bias in gathering or interpreting information, or both, those opinions dont necessarily need to be accepted. Its perfectly reasonable to try to help someone improve the validity of their opinion, and improve their process of opinion forming.
