He has been uninspiring to me… But definitely an improvement over last year (That just doesn’t say much).

But at least there is history that says Jalen plays a lot better the second season with the same OC.  The only other time he had that was with Steichen

I really hope he's Dave Campo 2.0.

 

He was my favorite Cowboys coach.

Good question.  Likely to be a fill in for an in-game injury, and a 3rd stringer behind Jurgens and Dickerson.  But, if Jurgens had gone down for multiple games, I'm sure they would have turned to Dickerson as the solution for a number of weeks.

 

The most interesting part of this is the late addition of Cameron Erving to the Practice Squad.   It makes you wonder if they have any interest in Gates actually suiting up this week at all, but elevating Erving as the emergency C behind Jurgens and Dickerson.

That would make sense but we even saw in game that it was always Dickerson sliding over. A third string C should be on the PS and a risk to lose on waivers instead of Stoll who stinks but would be useful right now.

That's true.  But you need another guy in case you lose both Dickerson and Jurgens in a game.

I don’t care too much about Kellen, I think he’s alright. An upgrade from what we had but not an advantage coaching wise. I just want to see Jalen have some continuity with his OC
