Did he ever switch over when Lane was out?

What the hell even is that?

Believe it was Fred Johnson who came in. That said i wouldn’t be shocked if he’s paid and then eventually moved out to RT if stoutland believes he can play tackle after Lane retires.

No.

You can do "ifs" lots of plays, and that goes both ways.

The negative, glass half empty, anxious, nervous energy some of you have needs to get some therapy.

Fine with me. Looking dispassionately at a past game is something I do. I accept that you cannot. Stick with it; it probably keeps you happy.

My concern with Becton is, this is great on a prove it year. What do you get once he is paid?

Hardly. We stopped them on a 4th and 2. They make it, they go up by two scores.

Huh? They were down by 2 pts when they turned it over on downs.

Howie seems to make it work with the cap, but I’m assuming they won’t be able to retain all of Baun, Milton Williams, and Becton. I don’t think the drop off of going from Becton to Steen would be as drastic as losing Baun.

Making him different from everyone else?

well we dont know, but he may be different. Were his injuries just bad luck, or was he out of shape and easily injured?

Hes in shape and healthy this year. His career was hanging on by a thread. He is motivated.

When he gets paid, is he going back to the cold tub? We dont know.

Baun has no shot of returning.  Although maybe they will do the very rare franchise tag on him.

It's crazy how retarded you really are. Howie will bring him back

Wrong!

If you aren’t nervous you aren’t human.  Uncertainty naturally spawns nervousness, and the whole NFL business model is built around the excitement that uncertainty brings.

I'd go Baun, Williams then Becton. Need to spend money on the defensive side as well. Outside of Jurgens who is up for a contract extension, there is a ton of money already invested in the oline.

Not too worried about effort, but…

I'd rather them draft his replacement if he doesn't take a team friendly deal. I don't trust him to take over for Lane

I guess I am not human.

The question is, is he more exposed because he was slow and lumbering? Why so many leg injuries? Always getting rolled up on because he was in the way?

We've known for a while, but we didn't want to tell you.  We weren't sure how you'd react.  Glad to see you are laughing it off.
