We can't seem to find any good pretzels any more when we visit Philly.  Got some from Philly Pretzel factory when we were there for the GB game and they are just ok.  Nothing like those pretzels warmed by some dude's armpits on the way to the airport.  Maybe that was the secret 🤔

We had very few choices.  Wheaties, Cheerios, Corn Flakes, and the Chex.  Sugar Pops and Puffed Rice came along, but by the time they did, we were all Chex all the time.

That is what HE and I are talking about is the Philly pretzel factory. If you get them fresh they are pretty damn good. 

If you want a peanut butter treat, nothing beats these. I ate 5 of these I one sitting.

I do agree there. It seems like "Philly Pretzel Factory" is a farce. Some poor outsider would never know it, but those arent true philly pretzles.

You can also get Federal pretzels around here which may actually be a philly brand. And very different than a Philly Pretzel Factory pretzel.  But theyre literally no different than a wawa pretzel, or the sheetz pretzels that they started selling a year or two ago. And theyre not like a true philly pretzel. 

None of those are legitimately like an authentic pretzel out of a bums cart on the streers of philly. 

Good. Because all soft pretzels are good. But not nearly as good, and not really comparable.

I wanted these so badly when I was a kid and never got to try them.  I mean, I guess they're just regular vanilla pies with green frosting on the exterior, but still.

They were amazing but those things were razor sharp even worse than Doritos. Bite one of them the wrong way and you could skin wild game with it.

Ive said previously about Becton and Baun that I think they recognize the role the eagles have had in their careers. Baun's self awareness to laugh at the pro bowl clause in his contract when he signed here, and Bectons tears when realizing he would play in a playoff game.... Those things made me think these guys realize that they may be able to go elsewhere but possibly wont be the same player outside of this organization.  It makes me hopeful that both of them give us at least some discount because they realize the important role that this team, and these coaches have played in their success. 

And Im not saying Becton was a lazy slouch who just turned it on in a contract year. I am 100% all for keeping him. Im just saying youd have to consider the possibility, and structure it carefully.
