This is statistically the best defense they've had in 16 years since the 2008 season. They've held opponents under 300 yards in 7 straight which they haven't done since then. If you would have told us a year ago that they would have rebounded like this only after a year, no one would have believed it. It's been an incredible turnaround and Fangio deserves a lot of credit. They're getting elite play out of two rookies in Mitchell and DeJean, Baun is all over the place, Nakobe has stepped up, Carter is a game-wrecker, and the depth on the line in guys like Williams is huge. BG is a big loss but I trust them to figure it out. They've been doing all of this without an elite pass rusher as well. If they can get one more rookie contributor in Hunt to hold his ground, I think they'll be okay.

Yeah I'm not sure rebound is really what's happened, they've completely rebuilt the secondary and linebackers and the youngsters on the D Line have a years experience.

Don't get me wrong Fangio has done a great job of installing his scheme, but the talent he has in the back 7 is country mile better than Desai was trying to get a tune out of. This year our second string corners are better than Bradberry was last year.

There were MULTIPLE blatant holds on him and others last night that weren't called. Fing maddening.

Carter gets held almost every game and it never gets called. They borderline need to send tape to the league and inquire what is going on.

DET still has MIN, GB, SF, and Buffalo.

#1 seed will be ours. DET might not even win their division.

Mitchell gave up under 30 yards yesteday, which was actually less than DeJean.

Like I said last night, the TD at the end won't be credited to him. It wasn't his assignment.

Yes it was. They were in C4 trix, so he has to carry his man deep and he slipped when Kupp broke to the skinny post. It happens. Credit to Kupp for the route and catch, and Stafford for the throw.

Wouldn’t say Mitchell struggled. A lot of his stats against him were in garbage time

He gave up the TD because he slipped and other throws his way were in zone coverage

Don't know how he doesn't get rookie of the year. He's playing insane

Division games are tough and MIN and GB have good teams. They can run the table, obviously, but that's a tall task in that division.

It's not a conspiracy theory to say that officiating is biased against Philly teams. If you've watched the Sixers this year you've seen it. It's almost comical. If you've watched the games you know what I'm talking about. Even the beat guys who cover the team and 99% of the time don't mention refs because they're professionals have been jumping on the train that there is clear bias. Maxey will literally get tackled, the refs will call a foul, the opponent coach will challenge "Overturned, there was no foul on the play." Meanwhile, McCain will drive and get suplexed into the hardwood, no foul call... Sixers challenge. No call upheld. It's actually laughable how bad it's gotten.

And we see the same thing every week with the Eagles. I have my theories as to why this is going on, and it doesn't really require a tin foil hat to grasp it.

Yeah I was wondering about that.  People kept saying it wasn’t his assignment but in that scheme it would have been

Between last week and last night, Jalen Carter played 114 consecutive snaps. That's insane.

Kupp is still really good. Runs great routes and has done it to some of the best CBs in the league.  Nacua is better than him now but cooper kupp is still a top 20 if not 15 WR in the league. It’s why last night when people were like we should just have Mitchell covering nacua at all times, Matthew Stafford’s fine with that because then he’s just gonna find kupp or have kupp matchup against Rodgers and still target Rodgers.

I would argue the Rams wide receiving corps might be the deepest in the league. Robinson and Tutu Atwell as backups are good players. I’d love to have both as backups. I believe Robinson has 6 tds this year.

They already beat Minnesota and Green Bay on the road, the Green Bay win is the one impressive win on their season, all their other games against play off contending teams have been close and they've beaten up on weak teams.

They're a good team, but a couple of their wins are like the other side of the coin flip to our Atlanta game.

Yeah, it was his responsibility until the exchange with Sydney Brown.  Kupp had inside position, Q got his feet crossed/slipped, the safety was a bit late and Stafford delivered a nice ball - c'est la vie.

Buffalo will be the only truly difficult game for them.

GB and SF are not good.  Minnesota is good but not on their level and won't beat them in Detroit.

Any word on Josh Sweat?

On that dump off to Kupp his acceleration to the tackle point is wild.  Impressive.

Also because someone put money on him to get his first Int.
