If the lights go out in the fourth quarter and Josh Allen appears to chokeslam Mahomes, I'll lose my ish.

As long as the sodfather isn’t in charge of the turf this time I like the Eagles in a no sweat 30-20 win.

Eagles win, Eagles cover +2, over 49.5 parlay. +300

Yes or no?

I know they scored a lot of points two years ago, I just see this time around it being a more defensive battle. They (Chiefs) aren't as strong offensively as they were two years ago and the Eagles are stronger defensively than two years ago.

Offensively for the Eagles it comes down to which offense comes to play, if its the offense that played today then watch out, but if it is the offiense that has played the majority of the season then I say take the under. Tough call really on the O/U, but I do think the Eagles win and cover.

Good news is we’re going into the Super Bowl mostly healthy.   The guys that are slightly banged up will have two weeks of rest.

And Barkley only had 15 carries today - plus 2 weeks of rest - A fresh legged Barkley should be fun to watch in the Super Bowl.

The Super Bowl will hinge on this, and only this.

Obviously you do give a F, because you keep engaging me in conversation. Does KC get a lot of favorable calls? Sure….

But projecting an L is the logic of a born loser.

Go outside and touch some grass.

I didn't say they were going to lose.  The board isn't short of the smartest people in the room.  Why don't you go start crap with someone else.

Barkley should have minimum 25 carries in the SB and likely more.

I’ve never really seen anything like that.  The refs were clearly exasperated and felt like they were losing an element of control.  A team just intentionally jumping over the line repeatedly before the snap straight into the qb…

They are gonna blitz the **** out of us.

This is really cool to see them such in sync.

This is what happens when you practice hard during the week.

Jeff Darlington showed the rule in the rulebook. It’s just funny cause the officials basically lectured them about it.

Reid reviewed the 2022 Eagles/Jags game tape where Agnew burned them on motion into the backfield and then flaring back out for the Toney and Moore TDs in SB57. There haven’t been many poor plays from the defense this year, but he will find the holes. Tampa, Atlanta, and the second Washington game tapes will definitely play a role in this next game. Ertz cooked them today so I have my concerns about Kelce and Reed/CJGJ in coverage. This is a totally different defense from earlier in the season though and they have been tested much more in this playoff run against good QBs in Love, Stafford, and Daniels compared to 2022 against Jones and the SF NFCCG after Purdy went out.

Well, If you stop misbehaving then your parents wouldn’t need to say that, huh?

Jordan Mailata might just be the craziest story in the history of the NFL.  Great leader.  If he could, he would literally will this team to a SB Victory.

Damn Barkley really showed up in that dept today…on a couple plays I saw.

Big props to the Madden team for actually having that rule in the video game sometime between 2004-2008 when I was playing in college. I was just messing around being offsides every play, and eventually had the TD awarded against me.

I'm not sure that I can express this properly. It's possible it's going to come out all wrong, and that's definitely not my intention.

But there is just something "different" about this championship game than there was before '80, '04, and '17. Oh, for sure I'll be rooting as hard tomorrow as I was back then. But the fact that we have already won the Super Bowl reduces the anxiety level. Back then there was always the sense of "Please God, let me win a Super Bowl before I die! Just let me get to see it once!" But now that we've already won one, that sensation is out the window.

I dunno. Maybe the older guys (like me) can appreciate what I'm saying.

Good night. Let's hope I'm in a great mood 24 hours from now. Carry on.

Yup. Great mood.

It’s actually in the rule book because a team could theoretically run out the clock and win in that situation by repeatedly going offsides.
