I am. No point in being scared. Also if we said we were facing Washington in the title game a few weeks back we would’ve all been licking our chops. They beat up on a 2nd string defense and now everyone seems to be overly worried. Eagles by two scores.

I wanna go back to this. I was 100% confident in not only a win but also an absolute beatdown. I also think we beat KC by 2 scores. This is the best Eagles team, in my opinion, of my lifetime. Some wanted the Bills - some are afraid of the refs. Nah. F the Chiefs. We take back what should’ve/couldve been ours 2 years back.

What did Jalen mean when he said Sirianni let him out of his straight jacket?

I assume he was talking about play calling. Maybe earlier in the year Sirianni put restrictions on him when he was having problems turning the ball over and today he sort of opened it back up again for him. That theory isn’t perfect though because there were other similar games like the Steelers game.

Used a lot more of the play book.

All of our Super Bowls this Century have been against Dynasties.     (Patriots and Chiefs).   Well I guess we are going to have to be the Dynasty Killers.  Let's go.

Eagles are in their preferred role... underdogs, us against the world.

Lots to talk about with this game upcoming, but plenty of time.  Still basking...

The Eagles had a turnover differential of minus-6 through the first four weeks of the 2024 season.

They are +27 in the 16 games since.

Sirianni really went on the Hurts PR tour after the game. Is that a shot at the press?  There will always be a few detractors in the fanbase.

Hurts looks like a 90's detective after a long shift

The ones yesterday weren't deflected passes or bad snaps.  We took the ball away all four times.

I picked BUF to win today, and the Bills had every chance to do so.  They weren’t good enough in short yardage, not good enough on 4th down (Kincaid HAS to be able to catch that ball), and on the big third down to seal the game you just knew Andy Reid would have a play drawn up that the Bills had no defense for.

Andy worries me in that he’ll have a couple of calls like that again in the Super Bowl, but the Eagles have to take advantage of Spagnuolo and his hyper-aggressive play calling.

Good point … they caught us a couple years ago using motion at the goal line that basically gave them 2 walk-in TD’s

Not to get way ahead of myself.  But the Eagles are no Bills, and they're not the Texans either.

I'd like to think that Fletch was telling Ertz that one day, when he hangs them up, he'll be welcomed back at the Linc to celebrate with all the other former players.  Must have been weird for Foles, Fletch, Long, etc. to see Ertz suited up for the bad guys.

And finally, Jurgens and Dickerson just did something I don't quite understand.  I don't know how they pulled that off, at freaking center, with almost no adverse effects.  Those guys deserve a huge amount of credit for just keeping the train moving.

That felt like the most stressful 30+ point win ever. Maybe it’s because of what I’ve seen Washington do pretty much all season with comebacks and how good Daniels has been, but I never felt like that game was over and was able to put my shoulders down until Saquon’s TD in the fourth. I’m glad they didn’t let off the pedal. They would have dropped 50+ on them in that week 16 game if Hurts didn’t go down and that’s what they did yesterday.

An amazing game and everyone showed up.  Of course it was AJ and Saquon and Baun and Carter.  It was also Davis and Burks and Shipley and Ojomo.  Then there was Hurts who had his best game since the SB.  Finally, the coaching was good and Jurgens/Dickerson brought herculean efforts.

I was sure they would win when Wash blinked and kicked the FG on the 1st drive instead of going for the TD.  Things flipped back a bit with the fake punt but then there were the two TDs before the half and the Davis sack of Daniels which felt like the final body shot.

Good morning!

We're going to the Super Bowl

Yeah this was the only thing since the Commies Kenny Picket bowl that made me doubt our chances against those bums at all. I had visions of fumble and bad snaps etc.

Those two dudes helped save our season and are two tough SOBs.

I was watching Saquons post game interviews with great interest.

With everything he has gone through in his career, it would be very easy to be satisfied with a big win like this.

But nope, all business with complete focus on the next game and winning it.

Great sign for our chances IMO

Only 15 carries yesterday too. With the extra week break, he should be fresh.

Yep. Plenty of rest for a sore calf one would think.

I have to eat some crow on Sirianni and Hurts. Jobs not finished but still I have not been the nicest to them (mainly Sirianni). Hurts I’ve given the benefit of the doubt mostly until the playoffs where I got concerned. Sirianni I’ve been an absolute a-hole about.

Like the rest of the team he even seemed to change after the bye.

Hurts best two games in his career were yesterday and the SB.  He does his best work in the biggest games.
