Credit to Steen - every time that dude has been asked to come in he has played really, really well.  Didn't hear his name called once.  Stoutland is a f'kin genius.

He was penalized once I think, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t play a good game

I've been hard on Jordan Davis so I'll give him some credit for yesterday. He didn't play that much at all, but when he did you certainly noticed him.

Honestly its been that way. Hes still a force when hes out there. But just plays minimal snaps.

Yea but you'd need to pay for the lastminute flight and/or hotel

I would already buy that in advance. I’m just talking about the Super Bowl tickets. If you’re already down in New Orleans and committed to going then can either spend early and have it. Or wait see if it drops. They’ll be tickets available the day before on ticket sites.

For people who have gone to the Super Bowl before, when is the best time to buy tickets?  Cheapest now or do prices generally drop at all in the leadup?

No lie. Scalpers were selling tickets to Super Bowl XV against the Raiders for BELOW face value when we were walking to the stadium. Fifty dollar face value. They were asking forty.

The idea would be to book the flight, the rooms - go there with the expectation of potentially needing to pay top dollar for a ticket but with the idea to try to get a "last minute deal” if possible

Either way, you’ll find a ticket at some point before the game starts.

I remember trying to sneak into the stadium for one of the 2008 World Series games and it didn't work out at well. Would not advise.

Yeah I like him being rotated in - a fresh Davis will wear an O Line down and also gives JC or Williams a breather as well.

Did they just steal a kid? Ah yes a screeching white woman yelling Faciast.

The problem right now is finding a hotel. I checked a few weeks ago and anything within walking distance was 1500 a night.

If I go that is how I will do it.

Fly in the day of, watch the game, celebrate, sleep at the airport until I get my flight back out on Monday.

And will buy a ticket the night before or day of, ticket prices always fall.

I don't think my body would appreciate me doing that to it

You have to wear an orange reflective vest and a hard hat. Maybe a clipboard so your hands are busy and the are less likely to ask you to show anything.

Was just thinking this.  Stout had them all ready to go and Steen came in and crushed it.  Didn't miss a beat at all and that's with two different starters out of place and less than 100%.

I looked at Glendale when the eagles played here and Minneapolis in 2018cause i was thinking about going to that one. The prices at the beginning of the week were extraordinarily high. As the week went on, they slowly began to drop. Both times Saturday night they were cheapest of the week. I’m assuming because the Chiefs are going for a three peat that it is gonna be astronomically high from now til the start of SB week.

Did you scale the façade?

I had a Phillies Jersey with a WS patch and a hat with a HK patch. I can't believe they thought I didn't belong.

Yeah, it took a bit at the start for them to look on the same page. It looked like Steen jumped once before that as well or the snaps were slow and funky a few times. You expect that, though considering the circumstances.

I think everyone played at some point. Even Bryce Huff!

Bryce Huff had a really solid pass rush/QB pressure even if it was garbage time. I'm not very vocal during the game and I even yelled out, holy smokes, that's Bryce Huff!

This. They drop throughout the week. Saturday in 2018 and 2023 were the cheapest day. For whatever the reason prices in Glendale went back up Sunday morning of the game.

Somewhere out there, Deacon Jones is smiling.

I said it yesterday, Biadasz is a little bish.   So glad the Eagles let Dallas draft him.

That was a flop and a half on that play, after he did the same thing to Carter.   Of course, if it wasn't a flop... then he's the Stay-Puft marshmallow man.

Yea, one false start and the Luvu sack on Hurts may have been on him. There was definitely a miscommunication between Dickerson, Steen and Calcaterra. Who's at fault, not sure.

One good thing going for us is this roster is about 80% the team that was in LVII. They will be ready for the whirlwind of two weeks that leads up to the SB and will be able to help the younger guys who are new to this experience get ready and stay focused for the biggest game. Last time, it was mostly everybody new since there was a ton of turnover from LII and there was only maybe 6/7 guys left from that roster.

Granted, the Chiefs will also have this advantage given the obvious reasons. But at least it should be mostly an even factor.

Don't let Goedert's nice playoff run fool you in to thinking the Eagles don't need to address TE in the draft. He still missed half the season (which he always does).

With that being said, he's playing great. I wonder if the TE sweep was run out of necessity with Gainwell out or if they might be running it a few times to now run a play off of it in the SB.

I could see them doing a few plays from the TE sweep.

-Fake TE sweep QB draw.

-TE sweep with a reverse toss to a WR going the other direction with Mailata and Dickerson sealing the backside.

-TE sweep with a reverse toss to WR who flips it back to Hurts who then goes deep.
