The white helmet on the right side of the line is Allen. I don’t think I can record the video from paramount+ but you can watch him move across the line

I could see them prioritizing Becton for starting O line consistency. But both lines they do a good job of finding new talent and coaching them up.

LB has been an issue over the years. I wish they had extended Baun earlier as his price has gone up week after week. But Howie will get that done.

They never did.

And if you remember from the game, the ref on that side of the field who had that angle, came down having marked it a first down. The other ref from the other, obscured side had it marked short and overruled him.

It was ridiculous.

I've never understood the concept of going away from what has worked for almost 60 minutes of football, and then changing at the end to go prevent. Even Jim Johnson was guilty of doing it on occasion. It's maddening at times. You can see the quick scores coming before they happen like a slow motion train wreck.

I think some of it is not being able to change defensive coverage calls.  So they are calling the same coverage with the same holes in the zone because the offense is in hurry up mode.  I do wish they would look at changing the calls.  Maybe dropping 8 in coverage and rushing 3 would yield a better result.

His helmet is across. It’s not the helmet that has to cross. It has to be the ball and on replay you never see the ball actually cross.  We believe and assume the ball went over. The rule is that it’s conclusive that you see the ball go over. And that is why they kept it the way they did. It is a poorly written rule and the NFL’s gotten themselves into trouble because at times they don’t actually follow that rule and they overturn it because of what they think logically happened.

Glad to see nerd Ben get put in his place for this. Dumb idiot is still doubling down

Yeh, no matter where he decided to go with the ball he wasn't getting to step into the throw, not to mention when he needed to get rid of it to Shakir, Shakir was 15 yards away from the 1st down yardage needed...it was just a really good blitz that pressured Allen from the right and the left.

You can change calls, the radio is still functional and there are a handful of base "audibles" the defense can check to. But yeah anything more complex or exotic is off the table when you've got less than 10 seconds to get lined up and have everyone on the same page.

Also, class act as always, gives shoutout to Shipley in the post-game.

Barkley has meant everything to this team.

Obviously he's a great player and paired with a great O-line is a match made in heaven.  But what he's meant to the locker room, chemistry and culture of the team has been just as important.  Especially after last year and the reports of certain players not happy and causing issues.

You can track the ball with his body during the movement but all of that is irrelevant when they had the other angle that was clear as day but didn't use it

This call and the call on the long interception that wasn't, that should've ended up not even being a catch is what costed the Bills the game. I don't really complain about calls at all, they are just part of the game, every game. In this case though after watching the two line judges meet where the ball is, one of them obviously thought Allen made the first down.

You need to see the ball to overturn it

That’s not how the rule is written. Again, I think he got it, but it is a poorly written rule so I knew for that  fact they were not overturning it. And they didn’t for exactly what i explained.

If Howie lets him out of the building and into free agency it's 99% chance he's gone. Some team will give him the moon and stars thinking he's the answer for them and will over pay. The only way he stays is with a team friendly deal. You can make an argument either way what's in his best interest but at the end of the day money talks. As Joe Dirt was once told when attempting to pick up his Charger from impound, Maybe someday UNICEF will get into the LBr business...

Even Gene Steratore thought he had it by 1/3 of a football.

Game of inches...

We're better than the Chiefs. Hope the refs give us a fair fight.

Some players choose to stay in a winning organization. Smitty could have got more money, but he liked the organization. Baun benefits from the coaching as well. I hope he chooses to stay here and gets a deal done early so that's settled.

Best corner in the league.

They'll back up to the end zone to "prevent" a TD and then 5 guys will whiff trying to make a tackle taking bad angles not being used to attacking from so far back. It's almost more like a punt return at that point, which obviously they're not used to playing. I get it, but I don't get it.

I'll eat some crow on Fangio. I really didn't think he would have the success he's had. From last year really the only way to go was up but he has far surpassed my expectations. So at the end of the day I'm just bishing to bish. Like when the commies got a field goal and I yell at the TV. Because in my heart I want a shut out. 😂

irrelevant, where is the ball?

I think what summed up the whole game for me was 4th qtr Commies Center obvious extended hands to the face of Jalen Carter, which visibly upsets Carter and he throws a vicious open handed right to the side of Biadiz helmet knocking him down, whether Bisdiz flopped or not it showed for every punch WAS threw the eagles were going to throw a bigger one.

Hope they all play with that mentality against the chiefs, too bad they cant do the same to the refs...😒

Some idiots out there asserting that the hit on Saquon shouldn't have been called.  That's been called a penalty for 50 years.

I think Berman was right and BG is gonna announce tonight he will play in the Bowl.
