irrelevant, where is the ball?

It’s the way the rule is written and the initial spotting that got Buffalo. I thought he had it. When the official marked him short and then there was replay, but they never could see the actual football over l knew they weren’t gonna overturn it. If they would’ve ruled Josh Allen got the first down initially then reviewed they wouldn’t have overturned it. It would’ve called as stands.

Clutched to his chest (from the other angled view) that's across the line. What are you arguing here?

You can't see the ball but it didn't magically disappear and somehow stay behind the line while his body moved

Time to let go of his draft position. Doesn't matter at this point.  Furthermore,  this was a passing game.  If you take Daniels scrambles out of the equation, WA ran 19 times for 51 yards.  They passed 48 times and he did have 1 of our 3 sacks.

On how many of those 19 was Davis in there? They gained 2.7 yards a pop. Making a team one-dimensional has real value.

I think what summed up the whole game for me was 4th qtr Commies Center obvious extended hands to the face of Jalen Carter, which visibly upsets Carter and he throws a vicious open handed right to the side of Biadiz helmet knocking him down, whether Bisdiz flopped or not it showed for every punch WAS threw the eagles were going to throw a bigger one.

Hope they all play with that mentality against the chiefs, too bad they cant do the same to the refs...😒

Carter is a borderline psychopath, which is what’s needed for that position. If he can continue to find that balance of having a high football IQ, being disciplined, while also being a little crazy, we’re in good hands.

Funny thing is... that same motion is what the Bengals tried with Chase against DeJean... and he did a great job and shut that play down.  In other words... Andy might not be feeling so good about that this year.

I feel better with Fangio getting ready instead of that craptastic plan Gannon put together.

We're better than the Chiefs. Hope the refs give us a fair fight.

They won’t. They never give anyone a fair shot against the chiefs. They are going to make sure they change the outcome of at least one critical drive during the course of the game and at least one huge call late.

We all know this, the players know this, the announcers know this, the NFL knows this and the chiefs know this.

If we want to win we need a 2 score lead with 2 minutes left.

I’d add steen has played well when asked to come in. They drafted him in the third round. It reminds me of seumalo in year 3 finally got to be the starter and did well after that point.

I think the question i have is if lane retires or when he does, do they plan on moving becton out to RT. I think Milton at 25 and just scratching his potential is hard to let go. I’m not sure if this is correct but last guy entering his prime as a pass rushing DL they let go was burgess

they have stoutland and steen. It’s why i wouldn’t be shocked if they go williams over becton

You know Becton is also only 25, right?

Some idiots out there asserting that the hit on Saquon shouldn't have been called.  That's been called a penalty for 50 years.

Some players choose to stay in a winning organization. Smitty could have got more money, but he liked the organization. Baun benefits from the coaching as well. I hope he chooses to stay here and gets a deal done early so that's settled.

I hope he stays more than anyone. I probably also think he walks more than anyone. I've pined for elite LBr play since, forever. They can be the heart beat of elite defenses. And now one jumps out of the lake into our lap. He's here. But the Eagles have broken me with their defense/ salary cap philosophy. And then he jumps back into the lake and is gone, like a memory. Hopefully they win the Super Bowl and he cements his place here forcing Howie's hand, even more.

Exactly, can’t overrule without visible evidence.

I think Nakobe Dean's inability to stay on the field makes the decision to pay Baun an easy one.  Howie will sign him at about $12-13M AAV.  The big question will be who plays hardball in negotiations, Williams or Becton.

You don’t seem to grasp the rule and what is required to overturn a call

Said it before, I'll say it again.   He either flopped, or he's as soft as the Stay Puft Marshmallow man.  Either way... pretty pathetic to point to Carter giving Biadasz back exactly what he had just dished out.  The fact that Carter is stronger than him is a him problem, not a Carter problem.

The mentions there are hilarious where Commanders fans are asking for a flag. If you're going to throw flags, you have to penalize both guys😅

The weirdest thing is that he was holding his lower back on the field, and as he walked off the field. I think he injured himself on the flop.

Who are we thinking for the 2025 season opener on Thursday night? Looking at the home opponents my guess is Redskins or Rams with an outside shot of Lions or Cowboys.

Giants, Cowboys, Commanders, Lions, Bears, Broncos, Raiders, Rams

They've ruled on thousands of calls before without actually seeing the physical ball in 1 angle because of multiple angles painting the whole picture. It's not some new concept and I'm not sure why you're fighting on this hill

Yeah I’ve been all over the place in Eagles, Phillies and Sixers gear and always been respected by opposing team’s fans.

I get being hyped for the Eagles or Phillies, etc but the entire "harassing or threatening” opposing team’s fans went out of style decades ago.    Philly, we can do better than that.

Do we know that anything actually happened to this attention hog? Clearly he knows how to take video and post it online.  And yet... there's no evidence beyond that menacing little blonde girl waving at the camera as he sings a fight song for the teams old name.

Guy is a zero trying to become a one.

There’s an epidemic of twitter pansies who run to social media after stuff like this. Probably because the Green Bay fan got that guy fired from his job. It’s a trend and I’d be willing to bet there’s another side of the story or it’s a flat out lie.

Ding ding ding.  And, that guy went looking for exactly that.  He didn't go in good faith to root on his team, he went to get clicks and a bigger following.

I think if he had let up it maybe doesn't get called but he ran through Barkley trying to hit him.
