I’m not a big gambler, but I told myself if the Eagles make the SB I’ll bet $100 (yes I know, nothing big compared to what a lot of people do.. it’s just big for me, because I just don’t do it normally).

$50 of this was for what my stepson says is a ‘crazy parlay’.  He said ‘pick 5 legs that could happen, but pay big’.  I tried to do that (below)…$50 to pay over $22k.  The other $50 I’m just laying on the Eagles to win straight up.

SB with 150 is a hard one. Hope it happens.

I have been out of the loop today. I assume we opened the practice window for Bradberry today so he can complete the revenge tour.

talk about an awful take.

That's because Barkley will score 4 times from 60+ yards out.   Hey-O!!!   And the last TD will be a bomb to AJ Brown.

One of the two sack legs might hit, but the odds of both hitting are pretty unlikely. Otherwise everything else looks plausible.

I actually think it’s far more likely than a Burks sack, but yeah…KC has a solid run D.  I’m just confident that they have not faced our line or him yet… he’s broken off big runs against better run Ds

Yeah im not saying we should have won. You guys beat us up. The better team which is you guys won.

You seem desperate for an 'atta-boy' for your squad.

Good job, your squad didn't completely embarrass themselves.

Rewatching the chiefs bills game and the chiefs D can be run on

Right…if they both get sacks, the rest looks doable.  But we all know that’s a lot easier said than done…there’s a reason why those casinos are so tall and bright

Meanwhile he's being told about not biting whatever is in his mouth.

If Barkley were to be SB mvp, does that seal him as HOF?  Feel like it should.

If I were targeting one player in this draft, it would be Warren, but he'll be long gone.

He's not just a TE, he's a legitimate FB and power back and can line up in the slot.

He'd be a tremendous addition to this offense, line him up in a two TE formation, then before the snap move to FB, or line him up in the slot with Goddert and Brown on that side for power running plays, and then play action off that.

That was in preseason.  He has publicly eaten crow since then.

Obviously.   But, even so, it was a ridiculously stupid take from him at the time.  Anyone who actually WATCHED Barkley knew that he was doing unreal things behind a horrid OL, so any 'praise' he was getting was all because he is a generational back.  Skip is a moron.  And I have no interest in watching him try to back track.  He's a worm.

I think theyll be keeping all of them. Williams should be kept likely with the plan of not extending Jordan Davis. Sweat will also be let go and theyll draft his replacement.

They are not letting Davis walk, he's the key to their base defense.

Sweat is another matter, they'll expect more out of Huff, Hunt looks ready for a major role, and unlike Sweat, he can be a legitimate 3-4 OLB as well as an edge rusher.

Plus Ojoma is perfect for DE whether in a 3-4 or 2-4-5 formation.

So is this just what Nolan Smith is now?

2 weeks later, on another team's board looking for validation like that.

One guy to watch is Shipley. Gainwell is a solid backup RB, but Shipley has serious burst, reminds me of Charlie Garner, just give him a crack and he's gone.

And you could see on the KRs as well, he comes flying up the field and if anyone is out of their lane he's a threat to take it to the house.

I think the Eagles have a better overall offense than the Buffalo Bills. Jalen hurts isn’t Josh Allen but if you get the Jalen hurts from yesterday and you’re able to pick up some of these blitzes then I think they can score 30+. Saquon is gonna get more than 16 touches in this game and the bills should’ve given cook more than 16 with how he looked.

They faced the bills twice and gave up 29 and 30 points. I don’t think this defense by Kansas City is as good as it was last year. It’s definitely better than what we faced in the Super Bowl. But if fangio can keep the Chiefs under 27 points and I think that the eagles win the game.

Sweat needs to go.  Love him, but I agree that hunt is ready and Sweat is going to have some bad years on his new deal.

I’m fine with Smith and Hunt at the front end of the rotation, but they need 2 more to balance the rotation.  That can be a high pick for the right player…but I like the edge depth better than the back of round 1 edge guys, so I’m not sure a first round pick will be a fit.

I wonder what Reddick would cost…

I feel pretty good about the depth of defensive lineman in this draft.  We should be able to grab a couple of decent ones (if not more)

DT I like: T.J. Sanders, Walter Nolan, Aeneas Peebles, Ty Robinson

DE I like: Shemar Stewart, Mikael Williams, Mike Green, Jordan Burch

I also wouldn't mind Tate Ratledge if we lose Becton.  He'd fit right in on this line.

Finishing speed matters for this offense considering how often backs are in the second level.

That game was over at 10-0…which was about 7 mins into the game?

Agreed, but that is a pipe dream.

What are you going to pay for a DT who plays 15 snaps a game? I understand his role, but what value do you put on that when you have to pay big dollars at other positions who are on the field for a lot more than he is.

If the Eagles can recreate the magic of last night…Hurts can tie or pass Emmitt easily for most career SB TD’s rushing (2 to tie 3 to break IIRC).  I think Hurts comes out firing too and breaks Eli’s streak of 9 straight completions to start the game.  Barkley and 204 as the single game rushing yardage total is totally doable.
