Eagles have a good rookie DE

I’m a Cornell grad so I love the fact that we have Jalyx, and I do agree that he did have "such a good game.”  But was there any Eagle who didn’t have a good game Sunday?

Newest Eagles fan came this morning at 4am…I’m tired AF.  I’ll make sure to post some photos this weekend of her in her baby Eagles gear!  Despite my sleep deprived wishes, she is not named Saquon and

If I was Saquon, I would play this every morning and then go to work to prove him wrong.

Consider the source though.

Also, class act as always, gives shoutout to Shipley in the post-game.

Loved that but note he also threw in "our guy Kenny” in the interview and mentioned their RB room.  Teammate support runs in his veins.

I have.  And frankly, it's overblown.  It happens everywhere.  It's not more common here.  What is more common is the hype given to any minor incident here, but literal murders in the parking lots of other cities never get mentioned.  It's tired and boring.

Yep. I’d argue Philly is one of the more hostile stadiums than most but that just consists of more "F you’s” than anything. Every single time I’ve seen anything over the top it’s always due to instigating. And the staff always are on top of it.

Ertz wants to play another year. I’d bring him back for TE2/retirement tour.

Put him in the slot

Believe what you want.  I’ve been to games all over the country and I haven’t seen it.   I’ve never been to games in LA or San Fran (what you’re referring to)  but I have been to games in San Diego and I’ve always been treated fine.  Never a single incident.

So no, it doesn’t "happen everywhere” but it does happen in some other cities

And Philly does get a bad rap for a lot of it.  So it makes it that much worse for the rest of us (Philly fans) when some knucklehead at the game does stuff like that.

I've never understood the concept of going away from what has worked for almost 60 minutes of football, and then changing at the end to go prevent. Even Jim Johnson was guilty of doing it on occasion. It's maddening at times. You can see the quick scores coming before they happen like a slow motion train wreck.

I kind of like the approach Vic takes with his version of a prevent defense.  Not allowing anything deeper than a few yards. Basically making a team burn clock. Those "gimme” TDs by opponents in the fourth quarter were mostly clock killers. Worked most of the time.

Can someone explain to me why the consensus is that shottenheimer is a bad hire?

Nice guys apparently do finish last, or at least lose their team.

I approve this message.

EDIT: I was referring to the tweet...it's really a matter of he's an unknown. Been in the league as an assistant for like 12- 14 years and never really grabbed anyone's attention.

I want to come to the Linc next year for the Cowboys game...and I want to sit with some of you guys. Can we make that happen?

yup...I have been to several away games and a couple of home games. I had a really scary experience in Arizona at the NFCCG a few years back with outside fans arriving to fight Eagles fans all over the place. I have been to Oakland in their infamous "black hole" without any issues. The only place I will not wear colors is the Niners games in Santa Clara. The Niners fanbase has significantly changed from the wine sipping quiche eating folks. It has a hardcore group with many gang members mixed in. You may think you are smack talking a fan when they actually are a gang member dressed in Niners gear. They treat any sign of disrespect as an act against their gang...no thank you!

Oh wow.  That's kinda crazy.

I didn't even ask my dad to come to the divisional game.  He's a rams fan. Not only would he be heckled, or worse. But id be a target,  even in my eagles gear just for being with him.

I've never been to a Dallas game in Philly.  But I can't imagine it's fun for you guys.

Another Senior Bowl prospect to watch for

I believe that about the home games and their fans for sure in SC. The traveling Niner fans are really cool people. Me ,my brother, and my son tailgated with a large group of them...they were parked beside us and were making street tacos and selling them for $2 at the Div round game in DAL a couple of years ago when they whipped our a$$. Her husband and I started BSing early that day, I bought a couple of tacos, and the lady who was doing most of the cooking told her husband that we could eat all we wanted (she didn't speak English)...we just chilled, drank beer, and filled up on Al Pastor for the next couple of hours with them.

AT&T has changed as well, I really enjoy the college games and the HS championship games at AT&T more than the NFL games now, there always seems to be a fight during or after the Cowboys games.

Yeh, that's the reason I would prefer to go with one of you guys LOL. Serously though I do want to come to a game there. I have a few bucket list venues I want to attend. I did Fenway two years ago, I want to do Wrigley, The Linc (PHI in general for the revolutionary history), Lambeau...I want to see zero in New York...I've been for work and stayed in Times Square for that...NY does nothing for me.
