Newest Eagles fan came this morning at 4am…I’m tired AF.  I’ll make sure to post some photos this weekend of her in her baby Eagles gear!  Despite my sleep deprived wishes, she is not named Saquon and

So... as the "home team", the Eagles should wear white?  Or... is it more about who calls the coin toss?  Do the home teams generally (or always) wear the darker colors?

Generally. When Pitt played in Super Bowl 40, they chose to wear road whites after they won all their games that post season on the road. We were also the Road team in LII but the Pats chose to wear their whites.

Mahomes first, AR 2nd, make the Chiefs a hard team to beat.  Kelce is a key player as well and he is Mahomes' favorite target.  Our DBs lack size and height to keep Kelce in check.  DC must have a plan to contain Kelce.

When the Eagles won the SB, the Patriots came in as the favorite.  The Eagles then had the whole team working together and filled with confidence.  They beat the favorite!

Floes was the honorable captain on the Conference Championship game and we won.  He was a key player in the last SB win.  Perhaps BG would serve as the honorable captain in the upcoming SB game.  He made a critical play to cause a fumble that sealed the game.  Anything and everything to give our guys the best chance to win!

Rodgers aside, our DBs are not small.

Eagles get to pick the jerseys. Home teams generally pick darker colors because that's their usual home jersey.

Right... but is it really about jerseys or coin flips?  Away teams call the flip.  How many times did the home team choose the whites?

So... it seems more about the 'away' team and calling the coin, rather than the color of the jersey.   🤔

We have enough of guys from the last time around to make it known what it will feel like. The team should have crazy notes on how to prepare and handle everything as well.

If we execute on the field, we will win by double digits

And he was the OC in Dallas... where it wasn't good enough to warrant keeping the HC, but somehow promoting his assistant is a better move?   It could work out, but as Jerry said, "It's not all smiles and glory holes."     Jerry really needs to step away from the microphones.

@pisceschica

No he does we need the drought to continue..I hope the eagles win so we can say Hurts has 2 SB appearances and 1 win to Prescott's current 2-5 playoff record.

I don't know what you're asking. That the coin flip is more important than choosing a jersey color for that record?

Oh, it’s just getting started.  Wait until next week - they’ll be talking about the mascot’s eye color and the trends associated with that.

It seems to be as good a reason as the laundry... maybe even more so.  I'm curious about if the team that receives first wins or loses more.  Personally, I don't jersey color as relevant, but ther coin flip and/or who receives first is a more relevant trend, but harder to track down, probably.

Listening to Sirius radio NFL channel this morning, as I got into my truck they announced the Chiefs are in the Super Bowl. And then it went into an Andy Reid interview. And then that was it. The disrespect is real.

I think it's all just a giant coincidence personally. There is no statistical advantage of whose calling the coin flip, both teams have the same odds regardless. The only "advantage" comes after the fact and even that is still dependent on flow of the game.

TL/DR: There's no way in hell I'm spending a single second researching that.

I let AI research it.  They say no trend for receiving first or not, but there is a trend for winning/losing the coin toss!

And you still doing get it. Please add me to your ignore list already

This is the problem with the Hurts Huggers.  You can't even have a normal debate with them and critique the QB when he is playing poorly.  They will utilize any possible skewed stat in favor of their own agenda (like tush pushes, total TDs, another QB that didn't pass for a lot of yards that given week), but they are also incapable of admitting when he plays poorly.  You will simply be labeled as a "hater" or put on ignore for arguing he's not as good as Mahomes.    For instance, this past Sunday, I posted right away that Hurts was sensational, and I was not expecting him to play even close to that level.  Honestly it was the best game I've seen from him since the SB, which is amazing, because he dials it up at the right times, and I think he can do it again in 2 weeks.

However, he has been mediocre since that SB.  There's no denying it, especially with these weapons he is surrounded with.  It should be ok to discuss that this offense was severely neutered all season long in order to make sure he doesn't make any stupid mistakes.
