It's a pretty weak and old DE/Edge FA class. Someone will overpay for Josh Sweat. Has Reddick burnt his Philly bridges? I'd be on board for brining him back on a 2-year deal. I think he overvalued himself and could be had at a reasonable deal.

I’d guess that someone willing to sit out on their brand new team probably wasn’t incredibly gracious on the way out with the old one.

Jordan is one of those guys who you can just tell is an awesome dad (or will be one if/when he has kids.)

The Lions OC turned down offer(s) this past offseason because he wanted to return for another year.

Well he wanted to be paid like he was Andy Reid which was ridiculous

Who will be a FA this year they'd target?

Baun is a must if they continue to play this well with him. They can't go through a few years of trying to fix that again.

I don’t think we do much in FA this season. We’ll pay our own players and hope for comp picks if someone leaves.

Ben Johnson at Detroit?

True, he has time to still build on his name. It just seems like in the NFL with the coaching cycles it’s hard to be the hot name, cool off and then get hot again. Every year or so some other younger guy shows up and becomes the new hot name. NFL teams seem focused on finding the next McVay, like Ben Johnson or Bobby Slowik. Specifically in Moores case, it seems like he’s getting less and less HC interviews each year.

Well, I'd be okay keeping him around here.

These guys are quitters. If they lose a couple more games you’ll see a bunch of phantom injuries that they’ve had for months. I’m not buying that nonsense.

I’d have to go check, but I think the bigger issue for me is it was never put on the injury report. And this has been going on since week four. How the hell did they get away with that?

Sorry.  Should have been more clear.  Expect teams from now on to stop Saquon / Hurts from running.  Then take away AJ.  If successful, then Hurts should have to pass elsewhere.  And there it gets interesting.  All of the tactics above are with this strategy in mind.  Teams in years past have slowed down Hurts with this game plan but #26 / o-line are dominating.  Should be fun to see what Baltimore tries and what works and what does not.  They usually have a good defense and are fierce competitors too.  Peace.

The last big run by Saquon had 10 in the box.  And the double edged sword of that is... if you get that initial crease and make it through the first wave of defenders, there's no one left.

Doubt the Ravens will be this risky. Hamilton will play higher as the last line of run defense, I imagine.

Because it’s not real. Deebo will get a tummy ache soon and not play.

Don't Bengals still need to extend Chase?

Maybe. Looking at the FA list the Eagles are lucky to be in a pretty darn good position. They'll need edge help, maybe a DT, LB/S/CB should be fine. On the other side I'd love to get another QB in the draft ;)  but realistically they need a TE, maybe a WR, and OT if one falls in the first to replace Johnson, but they could probably wait a year. I'd love to see them keep Fred as well as a swing T. Not bad at all with 7 picks.

Well, I was in the middle of my reply to you and didn't think about it. Funny.

Another note on my reply this really is the first draft I can remember where they have one need (DE) and anything else is BPA.

I have no idea where he will be selected — and judging by the willingness of teams to draft athletic QBs on potential, he’s probably out of our reach — but Alabama’s QB Jalen Milroe intrigues me.

Get him behind Hurts for a few years and you have a like for like replacement who is even faster and more athletic.

I was looking at some mock drafts and Landon Jackson from Arkansas looks like the Kung Fu guy from Necessary Roughness
