As much as I want the 1 seed, I’m not terrified of playing in Detroit if it comes to that in an NFCCG. If our defense keeps playing the way it has been, we can absolutely give them a game and even pull off a win there.

Detroit is lucky as hell. First the Houston game and now this one. 

If I'm drafting first, I'm going to pick a QB that can read a clock correctly. Maybe all those fingernail polish fumes damaged his brain.

He was under center looking around reading the defense like la la la la la with 7 seconds left. Coach was sitting there wide eyed.

I would’ve called the timeout immediately after the sack. There would’ve been 32 seconds. Even if you complete the ball in the middle of the field 12 to 15 seconds comes off. That means you have 10 seconds to get your field goal unit on and set and ready to kick it. I’m guessing if you get yourself set in time, the.the lions might gonna burn a time out trying to ice the kicker. To me the mistake was not calling the timeout immediately so you had 32 seconds.

I would be more concerned about the divisional round if the bucs (assuming they win it they're now 2nd) and eagles make it there

Maybe. I’m not convinced the Bears could run a play to get into FG range, get set up and make a kick in 30 seconds the way that team plays. 

They would have lost in OT anyway, once that hands to the face penalty was called, the game was over. Bears had their chances and the refs ruined the end of that game too. Penalties need to be reviewable. It's absurd they aren't when they impact games to such a degree.

Agreed. Refs have too much power for the amount of times they screw a team over

I would've called a timeout immediately too. Odds are you aren't picking up a 3rd and 14. So you call a timeout, plan for a quick play that gets you a little closer and run the FG team out there. Or try for a play to the sidelines and just attempt the long kick.

I think the Eagles matchup well with the Lions. Better than some other teams.

The officials would scare me more than playing in Detroit.
