As a Penn State alum, thank you.

It’s hard to see Penn State dropping out of the playoffs, but IDK that you should say thank you.  Unless a miracle happens a home playoff game probably won’t be on the table unless Franklin magically learns how to coach.

I'm most interested in seeing Jordan Davis today. This is the type of game he's built to shine in and hopefully we see his work against Henry.

If the Eagles can get in the backfield and make Henry cut and stutter, they should be able to bottle him up. He doesn't have the best acceleration, so they will need to knife in there to slow him down.

Defense needs to force literally anyone else but Lamar beat you on those read options. Get him to pitch the ball and keep contain.

I have a lot of confidence in todays game and think the Eagles will take care of business.

We are going to see the confidence they have in Rogers, Mitchell and Dejean.....stack 5 in the box, have Dean spy and have the DB's lock down.  Baun covers anyone leaking out from TE to RB in pass, Safeties helping.  Guess what I'm saying is, let the DB's handle without help, but give more help/support upfront to contain RB/QB runs.

Adding on to thought...I'd almost be ok with bringing 6 every time....I do believe our secondary is THAT good, let them take everything one on one.  By bringing 6, you are basically going to overwhelm the OL, containing Henry and runs by Jackson and if it's a pass....well you have 6 coming....I know it's high risk but I like it! 🙂But one other thought, you can start out straight up base defense and if our Dline is able to handle on their own...well then by having 7 back, it will definitely make it almost impossible to throw....

All 4 of the big UGA names are going to be must watches.  Will the approach being any different without Graham? Graham was probably the only edge on the team capable of consistently setting an edge.  Smith needs to step up big down the stretch.

Dean is going to be challenged in space, he’s gotten better recently with angles and breaking down in the open field…but this will be a huge test.

Davis and Carter need to play complimentary.  I’m not sure you want to ask Carter to rein it in a bit, but him not losing control and keeping his head up is a must.  Same with Davis, he needs to keep his feet moving and his balance so he’s able to consistently fall off blocks for tackles.

Other things to watch, how will Milton be used?  Do they flex him outside to help with setting edges?  Can Sweat hold up with increased snaps?

I fully expect Baltimore to attack the edges and try to nullify the D’s strength in the interior.

I don’t think so. I get that a loss here doesn’t hurt us but this is a game where we can make a statement with a win. If he doesn’t play Dotson has to step up if we want to have a chance.

Smith hardly gets targets anyway. Its not a big loss. And Dotson doesnt need to step up. Dotson would step up if WR2 got targets but he doesnt really. Barkley carried the offense last week. Didnt need WR2.

Lamar Jackson is 23-1 against the NFC. That’s nuts.

If Smith sits out, Dotson will be #2 WR.  They activate Campbell and add one more WR.  The offense likely will lean on the running game anyway.  The passing game weighs less that way.  Look forward to this game, as it shows how the team handles a top team loaded with good players.

Should i bench shakir tonight with the weather??

What’s nuttier is the one loss is to the Giants. Would love to make his losses all in the NFCE today.

That's kinda my point. Isn't Indiana third? They only have one conference loss. Ohio State has two. Doesn't that matter, or is Ohio State now going to be following the path of Alabama...the path where no matter what happens they're always given a playoff spot?

We will see what happens. They'll probably get in but won't do sheet anyways

I realize I am something of a one-note man when it comes to Becton but I just watched the Rams game (condensed) and I am amazed at how good he is in only his ninth game at guard. He is a monster on a line of monsters. He made some beautiful adjustments against slants and stunts. I was excited when they signed him but I didn't expect him to be this good this soon.

And a shout out to Calcaterra, who had several really fine blocks.

That's insane. I think the Eagles are the better team and should win, but I have a feeling one of those ugly close loss games that make us feel sick is coming. They will snap back and go on a tear if that happens, but they always struggle in Baltimore for some reason.

Becton is simultaneously the most frustrating & exciting Eagles OL player. His highlight blocks are truly WOW stuff. Shawn Andrews-level. A lot of the stuffs we get are also his fault. The Washington game in particular was rough for him not knowing who to combo block.

When he figures it all out? Brandon Brooks 2.0.

I think this game totally doesnt matter in our season and Im not sure if the team will even be up for it. There is the pride thing of trying to get Barkley the rushing title. But standings, playoffs, whatever... this is fairly meaningless. I dont even care if they lose today. I just want no more injuries this week. Get healthy.

It’s against another top team and will show if they are for real or pretenders.  Certainly matters.

Today is a very important date in Eagles history (not exact date). It’s the 4 year anniversary of this moment. Any guesses?

Nope. Thinking too small. Think big picture Eagles franchise moments.

Gonna see a lot under center today and working the play action. Play action today will be big.
