It’s against another top team and will show if they are for real or pretenders.  Certainly matters.

Disagree. Good teams lose to other good teams all the time. It's just reality. The outcome of 1 regular season game is not the ultimate defining moment. If they slaughter the Panthers, followed up by a win against Pittsburgh in 2 weeks, suddenly they become the talk of the town again. I think the Ravens are likely to win today, but I'll feel a lot better if the Birds give them a competitive game.

Today is a very important date in Eagles history (not exact date). It’s the 4 year anniversary of this moment. Any guesses?

Since Hurts was made the starter?

Nevermind. This wasn't it lol.

No you f’ing idiot

Its been exactly 4 years but not quite 4 years give or take few days/weeks/months. I can’t be any clearer.

11/28/20- We held Barkley to 40 yards rushing, Hurts threw 3 INT and we still beat the Giants.

Also, was it around 4 years ago when Lurie got approval to bring back Kelly Green?

Luries son was officially hired as special assistant to the president of succession planning?

Joe Buck said something positive about Philly on a live broadcast?

The whole Shaq Barrett situation seems pretty messed up. So the Dolphins don't want him but won't cut him either. They have the power to say, sorry you're not allowed to play football even though another team wants you? Doesn't seem right at all, can he file a grievance or go to the players association about this?

I'm most interested in seeing Jordan Davis today. This is the type of game he's built to shine in and hopefully we see his work against Henry.

If the Eagles can get in the backfield and make Henry cut and stutter, they should be able to bottle him up. He doesn't have the best acceleration, so they will need to knife in there to slow him down.

Defense needs to force literally anyone else but Lamar beat you on those read options. Get him to pitch the ball and keep contain.

I have a lot of confidence in todays game and think the Eagles will take care of business.

Davis on the Nose with Carter on one side of him and Williams on the other side of him.  Should be plenty disruptive.

Maybe. Won't matter this year from what people said about having to be activated from the retirement list already.

We are going to see the confidence they have in Rogers, Mitchell and Dejean.....stack 5 in the box, have Dean spy and have the DB's lock down.  Baun covers anyone leaking out from TE to RB in pass, Safeties helping.  Guess what I'm saying is, let the DB's handle without help, but give more help/support upfront to contain RB/QB runs.

Ever think you'd be saying that for an Eagles game?

It's amazing how we went from constantly worrying about the secondary to being proud of it

As I said yesterday, I see today as a look at yourself in the mirror game. In other words, it’s an opportunity to make a statement more to yourselves as a group of players than to the world at large.

There’s a few layers to the story. Barrett decided to unretire two days before the deadline. He could have come back before the trade deadline so the Dolphins had more options. He was also paid a $5M signing bonus. If the Dolphins were to cut him now, they wouldn’t be able to recoup that. He also could have chosen to return that money in exchange for a release. I don’t know if he was willing to do that but I’d guess not since it wasn’t reported and he didn’t get released.

I’d guess he only came out specifically to play for one team, probably the Eagles, and the Dolphins didn’t want to give him away for nothing while already paying him.

Agree. I don't fault them for a down game either. Bad juju for them in Baltimore. They are a cheap team and may get away with a lot of holding.

It’s hard to see Penn State dropping out of the playoffs, but IDK that you should say thank you.  Unless a miracle happens a home playoff game probably won’t be on the table unless Franklin magically learns how to coach.

So if they lose to the #1 team in the nation, they fall out of a home game to start the playoffs ?  Most rankings had them as a home team before Saturday.

All wrong. 4 years ago the Philadelphia Eagles played the Baltimore Ravens and one player had perhaps the most impressive single game performance ever seen on the NFL gridiron.

Quiz time. How many sacks does the great Jason Peters have? How many sacks did Jason Kelce ever have? Lane Johnson has literally never given up a sack in his entire life at any stage, but how many sacks has he had? Jordan Mailata, one of the greatest two sport Eagles ever? None. All goose eggs. One man stands alone in the land of the giants….

Once there was some Cowboy D-Bag who coined the phrase "look good, feel good, play good get paid good.” One man understood that wisdom. Given the biggest opportunity in his career, he rose to the occasion and took those words to heart. He was going to look good and feel good and damn anyone trying to stop him, whether that be the opposing defense or even his own petulant QB’s selfish needs. He could not and would not be denied.

Today, ladies and gentleman, we honor the legacy of one Jamon Brown.

And in honor of the short lived but undeniable career of arguably the most influential Brown in Eagles history, let us all heed the rallying cry. May the 2024 Eagles do what is must, defeat whatever is necessary and win it all. May they "Bring it on for Jamon”.

Why does it feel like we've had like 2 home games this season?

C’mon, if Fletcher Cox told the Eagles that he wanted to come out of retirement to play for the Lions, you think it would be cool for the Eagles to say okay?

Oof - I need to upgrade the internet today, missed that pick 6.

Cards could help us out today.

Only one 1pm game at home this year.

I seriously hate how they go to commercial after everything

That wasn't my point. But yeah, if we didn't want him and he wanted to play and another team wanted him, then yes I think that wouldn't be right and the player shouldn't be forced to not play. But it sounds much more complicated than what I was thinking any way.
