I was mocking, HE. Of course a forearm through the head is head hunting. 100% dirty hit.

Sorry about that HE doesn't show up on my feed.

Terrible time management by Pitt. Lost a play if they wanted to take an end zone shot.

But he posts such valuable insight!

Jesus. Just noticed he has a cast on his arm and it looks like he led with it in the hit

Bengals defense is so bad it feels like they give up 6-7 yards per play.

They clearly were thinking about my fantasy team and needing fgs from Boswell

Come on. You’d be ok  if that happen to hurts?

Dude literally wishes for that to happen to Hurts every week. Is that a serious question?

I asked this before, who has the most losses while scoring 30 points in the game for a season? Because the Bengals very well might score 30 today, lose and it would be the fourth time this year.

Fletcher Cox was good last year, so if you bring him back for cheap of course you do it. Doubt he actually wants to.

They can’t, deadline passed

IRT to the Lawrence hit…there is a bit of bang bang element to it.  Lawrence slid late, yes.  However Shaair’s attempt given his launch, angle and target was 100% meant maliciously.  That is basically ‘seeing red’ and zeroed in on the head.  Zero excuse for that kind of play.  If Lawrence doesn’t slide there, there’s about a 90% chance he misses the tackle and a 10% chance he destroys Lawrences knees.

I thought it only applied to players under contract? Cox was cut.

Everyone acting like that Trvor Lawrence hit was the dirtiest they've ever seen and all I can think about is how much dirtier the Clowney hit on Wentz was.

Ever pass break up now you have to look for a stupid flag. Ridiculous and ruining football.

Hurts has taken a few questionably late hits already this year.  Hurts over the years has learned to do this slide into a turtle/fetal position though…which i think has saved him.

I agree. That was targeted to take Wentz out

Both are clearly dirty hits, not sure what your point is.

Middle son got his official acceptance letter from University of Illinois today. Offering $38,000 scholarship over 4 years. He's still undecided as he's also been accepted to NIU, Illinois State, SIU. Wants to either study engineering or business. The engineering program at U of I is intense, but it's also like the 5th best school in the country. He's worried he doesn't have the chops for it.

Anyone else have a kid accepted to a major school but they're hesitant because of the school's perceived difficulty?

No, but my son’s roommate at PSU when they were having to decide what area of engineering raised that a bit.  My son is an aerospace engineer.  That’s the hardest to get into and required the highest GPA.  He was concerned they would let him in but he got in with no problems.  His roommate’s first choice was nuclear engineering because he didn’t have the grades for aerospace.  That floored me, because, I mean I don’t want to drop out of the sky because the plane was designed poorly, but I also don’t want to glow in the dark.  Both got in to their selected choices.  PSU is a tough engineering program.  My son took the AP classes your son did.  I am sure he will be fine.  Side note: the roommate is now a nuclear engineer at Peach Bottom.

He was never cut, but I think you are right about not being under contract because he signed just a one year deal last time. So I guess it’s technically possible.

He did say there was no chance of a comeback at his retirement speech, so I wouldn’t count on it. He’s been doing a lot of hunting all year, I doubt he’s in shape to play either.

I think the Sixers lost 73 games one year. I’m going to assume that they scored 30 in all of those losses. They sucked pretty bad so maybe not.

Logic prevailed!

Plenty of green jerseys in the stadium.

Beautiful pass to Pickens.

Pickens is such an idiot. Good player but damn.

By rule, the call was a late hit which is a dead ball foul. And the ensuing melee were also dead ball fouls, so since all calls are dead ball fouls, they have to offset regardless of the proportion of calls on each team. They have discretion on ejections, so the surprising part was them ejecting the Jags player too. They could've just elected Al-Shahir if they wanted too.

C’mon.  That hit by the Jags player was flagrant too.  Both deserved to be ejected.

Overthecap has him as a post-june cut, but you're right it could just mean he's a free agent.

Agree with you that he's happy hunting, driving cars and um, other activities....
