Meh….seems like they may be too cute and over cautious with Smith this time.

Wise to be cautious.   Need him healthy come playoff time.

Overthecap has him as a post-june cut, but you're right it could just mean he's a free agent.

Agree with you that he's happy hunting, driving cars and um, other activities....

He’s not listed on the Eagles official transactions. Neither is Kelce. I’m guessing both just voided like they were intended.

Its looking like Arizona is going to beat the Vikings.

Both are clearly dirty hits, not sure what your point is.

Look who you’re responding to lol, I’m sure we can spin this conversation into Burfict wasn’t that dirty of a player though because of some sliding scale we can create on how dirty things are.

It’s a hamstring. They should be cautious.

A comment on facebook says when they dress like this it usually means the CTE has started to kick in. Should we worry about AJ?

C’mon.  That hit by the Jags player was flagrant too.  Both deserved to be ejected.

Fair enough, I was mainly pointing out where they do and do not have discretion.

:offtopic: Kind of

I said when Andrew Luck retired that he was taking the same path as his dad, who retired early, then eventually went into sports management.  From The Athletic:

Luck’s intriguing new role

Former star quarterback Andrew Luck is returning to the Stanford’s football program as general manager, a move indicative of college sports’ changing times. Luck, 35, will oversee every aspect of the program — both on and off the field — with the coaching staff reporting to him. He’s expected to work with coach Troy Taylor on recruiting and roster management and with administration on fundraising, alumni relations, sponsorships, student-athlete support and the stadium experience.

I’ve yet to see a play where the right edge for Pitt doesn’t line up in the neutral zone.

It would be great to get a statement win today, especially with us missing some guys. Gonna be tough sledding against a tough Ravens team. Gotta stop the run to have a chance and will need a real good game from Hurts. I don’t think we will be able to run it that well against their D, so Jalen has to be good Jalen today.

Losing the game would suck, but they need to at least keep the score close and look competitive the entire game.

Plenty of green jerseys in the stadium.

Elliott looked iffy during his warmups.

Yeah, and Al Shaair took no more steps. He began his dive there too. It was a bang bang play.

He literally takes 2 more steps and hits him on the yellow first down line. You’re an idiot 😂

They count as June 1sts but they both retired and were not cut.  Note that when players retire from a team, they sign a one day contract and I am pretty sure that means that team also retains their rights.

I saw that in week 2. Very odd...

incorrect. 0 steps unless you are pretending the slide started earlier.

Cardinals will not be an easy out if they reach the playoffs.

A game in which we should be going for it a ton on 4th down.

Everyone acting like that Trvor Lawrence hit was the dirtiest they've ever seen and all I can think about is how much dirtier the Clowney hit on Wentz was.

Literally no one is saying that

I really don’t know what to look for here so I could be way off, but he still looks kinda gingerly moving through warmups
