That's the thing with the Hurts criticism/hate/doubts or whatever you want to call it.

Hurts has the best team around him.  I just feel fans want more out of him because of that.

Again, right now I have no complaints with him.  We're winning games.  Hes playing good football.  We have an identity and a winning formula.

I just wonder if Barkley gets hurt and he has to pick up some of slack, can he do it?

Can't speak for the others but this is basically how I feel

But we're winning with Barkley and Hurts not doing much. So I'm okay with that

How is this acceptable? This is unreal. Seriously how is nothing done about this? It's not a small sample size that this is happening either

Agreed. Allen doesn't have the team Hurts does. Not many QBs do. Probably none

Also if Allen isn’t good or great then the bills are likely not winning the game. I think they have less margin for error if he’s not at that level.

It’s BS cause it’s been really bad since the commanders game. The fact the ravens are the most penalized team in the league (particularly oline) and not have a hold called is ridiculous

Bingo. The answer is no. If Barkley went down this team would be in huge trouble.

Well hopefully we won't have to find out.

But if it does happen then I expect Hurts to still move the ball.  You have 2 great WRs, another solid one in Dotson, a good TE and probably the best O-line in football and he can still use his legs.  Should be no excuses but hopefully it doesn't come to that.

Josh Allen doesn't have two of the best receivers in football, a top three OL, the best running back and the number one defense.

Since Hurts became a starter, Allen has 2,239 more total yards and 29 more TDs with no where near the offensive talent around him. Their schedule has also been harder this season.

I just explained it in the post you quoted.

And so you made a good argument to have lower stats so why is he on par with the future MVP this year.

I think that's where the argument of 'place ___ here and see his stats go wild'

Exactly.  They have the formula and identity.

I think that was a case of the reporter simply getting it wrong. It looked to me like Hamilton got hit in the gut. I was kinda surprised a few minutes later when she said he went to the locker room for a possible head injury. It didn't make sense.

Ravens are the ones that said he was in and cleared the concussion protocol. I thought it was shoulder/pec at the time. I’m guessing he got rattled or got the wind knocked out of him on the hit and the independent neurologist didn’t like the way his head hit the ground. The injury wasn’t serious so the concussion became the more serious issue.

Oh cool the hypothetical game, aka talk for losers who want to live in a dream world.

Yeah, but the problem again is what even Richard Sherman spoke about today, which we have said many times in the past. That's great for now, but the rent will be due eventually. Maybe that's another slow start because the plan sucks, a good offense that they can't stop, or Barkley getting hurt. Many here said it going into this season that there are no more excuses because of who he has around him. When that rent is due, he is going to cost them at the wrong time.

With the best OL in football and Brown and Smith when healthy. Inexcusable. Especially, with SB as a threat. Can you imagine what Burrow or even Stafford would put up in that offense?  Hell, Mayfield would put up much better numbers.

Um, perhaps our all-pro running back who is putting up historic numbers has maybe a teensy weensy bit to fo with those stats? Why throw the ball more than you need to when your ace offensive line is helping your ace RB kill it?

I'm sorry (well, not really) but I love the idea that their fans are miserable right now. They way they walked out of the stadium last year after blasting us, you'd have thought they had just won the Super Bowl. Carrying on and on. It was nauseating to watch. I even sarcastically congratulated a bunch of them for their "Super Bowl victory" but they were too stupid to understand what I actually meant.

So yeah, F the Niners. (Except for when they play the Lions later this year.)

This is why it was annoying when everyone was crying we hadn't beaten anyone. You can only play the teams on your schedule. Jalen is executing the plays that are called. Are we supposed to crap on him because the defense isn't letting anyone score, so we aren't getting into shootouts?

Can Jalen carry us in a shootout? Well, he has in the past. If we were calling a ton of pass plays and he was missing wide open guys, I'd be more concerned. But I haven't seen that so far.

Frankly, I'm 100% fine never finding out what happens if we need Jalen to throw 40 times. Because that means we are winning.

They just beat the top rushing defense and top offense. If anyone was going to force us into an aerial shootout, it's Baltimore. And they didn't.

Maybe just put your irrational hate aside and enjoy the winning.

What is up with Diontae Johnson? Ravens didn’t play him at all yesterday and now it sounds like they are about to cut him a few weeks after trading him.

I do not. If I played fantasy I would be pleased with hurts rushing tds. It would be like having 3 RBs starting as opposed to 2

But you would also be unhappy with his low passing yards.

AJ Brown said the other week, we are a running team first. Everyone knows it too and the offensive line just still goes out and dominates.

I guarantee you that no Hurts hater is wanting Barkley to get injured just to prove that Hurts can't carry the team

I think Jeff has done well with the run designs. Brilliant, actually.

Tell Richard Sherman the same thing.

This place is unreal.  It doesn't matter whether the Eagles win or lose so long as they can bash Hurts.

There were people arguing in here that the 49ers last year were carrying Brock Purdy and that he was a glorified game manager, despite averaging more total yards than Hurts is this season.

He also led the NFL in yards/attempt

Didn't know he had a savage deep ball but Google said he does so.. meh.

Too bad Purdy is hurt so much. Another strong point of Hurts, he's durable.
