When evaluating QBs I'd think you have to look at everything.  Yards, comp %, TDs, Ints, team record and even rush yards.

How many QBs really rack up rush yds and rush TDs? Allen, Lamar, Hurts, Daniels and Kyler.  All the rest of the QBs are mainly pocket passers.  Mahomes scrambles a little too but I don't think I'm missing anyone else.

He’d have an outside shot at 1000 yards rushing if he played the whole season

Nix is a rookie. I have never seen Hurts make such a throw.

Hurts cant make either of those throws

Nonsense analogy

rbs should be catching passes. I would discount Hurts when he throws it 2 yards and saquon takes it 40

Your counter is RB’s should be catching passes?

So if it’s 3rd and 11, Hurts drops back and can’t find anyone… when he scrambles and gets 13 yards and the first down, he failed his job as a QB in your opinion. Because QBs shouldn’t be running

Since the bye, the Eagles have become the most dominant, unstoppable force in league.  Able to beat any team into submission.  So I really don't know what the f everybody is complaining about with regard to Hurts and offense.

I am perfectly happy allowing our OL to break the will of the opposition and limit turnovers.  When the time is right, they have the ability, especially with Smith, Brown and Goedert healthy, to break down any team if they choose to shut down Barkley.

We are 10-2.  The defense is playing lights out.  I mean what more could you ask for coming into the last weeks of the season??  If this team can make it into the playoffs healthy, we have as much chance to win at all as any other team.

What 2017 taught me more than anything is to enjoy the ride.  2022 broke my heart because I honestly thought we were the better team but an all time bad call cost them. If fate breaks in our favor, we are Superbowl Champs (again).

I have always had faith in Hurts to deliver wins no matter how he gets it done.  Certainly an 8 game winning streak has not changed that.  Keep the main thang the main thang! And that's that ring!

I hope that side judge is no longer in the league. That was BS as he speaks with Big Red for a chuckle

Hurts isn't a good combo with any OC. That's why they all get fired. The common denominator in all the failing is him.

This sarcasm? Only one of his OC’s was fired

And Hurts got another one a head coaching job. Bringing attention to that is the opposite of the point he’s trying to make

I wanted to face the Bengals in '22 but the refs would not be denied the Kelce bowl. I feel like we mop the floor with the Bengals in that Super Bowl, instead of the game we got being so damn close.

Was the Crew Chief in the Ravens game from Baltimore? That was, what, the 2 games prior to the Ravens game where the Crew Chief was from the city that was getting all the calls, also why is the league even putting refs in that can very easily be biased for their hometown team?

Is it time to start a conversation about Zack Baun as DPOY

I tend to give refs benefit of the doubt on a lot but it’s plays like that with Winston clearly getting hit in the head and not called that make no sense at all.

It only recently became trendy for people to use total stats instead of separating them

If it doesn't matter then why combine them and not keep it separate? What was the point to combine them

I've said like 3 times they should separate them like RB all purpose yards, and agreed that people combine to mislead lack of passing stats, that's obviously why they do it.

Everything is so subjective. It’s ruining the game.

I’m not taking anything away from how great he’s been but he’s at best the 3rd best player on this defense.

Definitely a pro bowler and All-pro consideration.

Also at the bye or shortly after the bye, Lane and some other O-lineman went to Sirianni and told him they need to run the ball more.

I wonder if that's because they didn't think the passing offense design was working or if they feel it's because Hurts wasn't executing on passing plays so they wanted to limit his attempts.

Of course Lane won't say either one because it would either throw Hurts or the coaches under the bus but it has to be one of them.

The OL also went to Doug early in 2017 after they lost to KC; the Chiefs won because they kept pounding the ball with Kareem Hunt, even though he was averaging just over two yards a carry.  They stuck with it and Hunt broke a 53-yard TD run late to help win it.  Meanwhile, Doug left Wentz back there slinging it 46 times against about 14 runs and the Chiefs front seven just pinned their ears back and teed off on Wentz.  They sacked him 6 times and hit him twice that many.

Doug listened to the OL and the Eagles only lost one other game in the last 17 they played.  Lane believes the Eagles have the best OL talent in the league and, with Barkley running behind them, are very hard to beat.  It’s not a coincidence the Eagles have gone on another long winning streak by emphasizing dominance in the trenches.  Remember, Wentz played at an MVP level that year and the Eagles still pounded the rock.

I remember Eagles haters complaining about Gene Steratore being the referee in the Super Bowl. He’s from Pennsylvania so of course he was rooting for the Eagles. Or so they argued.

Damn, Jeudy is 8/219 tonight.

And Winston is closing in on 500 pass yards. I’ve never seen a more high variance QB.

I agree, in general.

I will say that our slow starts and erratic passing game is worrisome. We are literally the worst first quarter team in the NFL, and while it’s worked so far, we probably cant get away with it running through the gauntlet to the Super Bowl.

The coaches need to figure this out, because if we can actually start building an early lead, this team is going to be all but unbeatable.

I wonder why the analytics would say to kick a FG here…

Other than Carter I don’t think anyone has been better.
