Likewise. I don't think I actively watched a snap. The games were on but I couldn't tell you anything about a single play.

Well Done Congrats GIF by America's Got Talent

OK cap gurus. We keep going back and forth on who needs to be brought back. Fun to talk about, but what are the realistic chances they can keep all of Sweat, Baun, Williams and Becton? Let's assume Slay is gone, BG retires (which I don't think he will), Huff is cut and Bradberry is gone. There isn't too much other dead weight to get rid of. Maybe restructures for Elliott, Goedert, Hurts?

I'd be content keeping all four and using FA for depth rather than making a FA splash and then trying to fill holes from departed guys.

My guess is Howie can make it work.

Do you think Eberflus keeps his job if a few fewer million viewers saw the ineptitude?

The problem is your assumptions don't move the needle at all in terms of cap space. This is a simplistic explanation but lets say you Post June 1 Huff to get optimal cap room. The savings is $0. Post June 1 Slay too because that's the next beneficial move, and it's just $4M in savings. You have to normally cut Bradberry now and that's -$3M. Graham is more complicated but he has dead money. It probably would beneficial to sign him to another year and push his money down the line. But also keep in mind when you Post June 1 a guy you don't get the cap space until June 1, and not all the guys are going to be waiting that long.

There's no restructure of Hurts, Goedert or Elliott.

It's a big reason Howie is carrying over a large chunk of this year into next year. The optionality outside of the carry over isn't really there.

To the original question if they could afford everyone, sure. I doubt they will because it might not make sense long term. Right now they have the benefit of Williams, Baun and Becton all being cheap, while Sweat took a paycut. Everyone besides Sweat are going to likely want substantial increases. Sweat I have no idea how that plays out. I doubt he would sign for even cheaper next year.

There are four players who captured me and cemented me as a Philly sports fan.

Randall Cunningham, Mike Schmidt, Ron Hextall and Allen Iverson.

This should be a great watch.

Can’t wait for this. Schmidt was my childhood hero. I actually have the handout from his retirement game I went to on my shelf…

Understand what you're saying.

Realistically, I think Baun is playing himself out of the Eagles price range, EVEN if Howie decides to put value on LB, he's the best LB in the NFL this season. Someone is going to PAY.

What we're seeing from Milton Williams is EXACTLY what you want from a DT next to Jalen Carter. The idea of those 2 guys terrorizing OL for the next 5-7 years is too good to pass up. Pay Williams what he wants.

Becton knows what he has in Philly and will sign here at a fair deal. That's just my opinion but I think he understands Stoutland can get the best out of him.

Sweat is the mystery, but again, I think he can be had for a reasonable price.

3 out of 4 would be great.

There isn't a ton of room to cut/restructure guys, but with our upcoming UFAs there's a lot of room to give them a big signing bonuses/low 2025 cap hits.

The best I've watched in my time in each Philly sport:

Schmidt (hon. mention to Steve Carlton, who was so great that 4 teams signed him after he couldn't pitch at all anymore)

Julius Irving

Reggie White

Bobby Clarke (both Parent and Lindros were great for a period of time, but Clarke is the only answer)

Will be very disappointed if Baun does not get extended.

Fans have been yearning for an All-Pro LB.

Keep Baun, Wiliams, and Becton.

Kick the can. Fudge the books. Win another Super Bowl or two with Barkley, Brown, and Hurts.

Howie is a wizard. Work that sleeve.

I do think that back in August, they were figuring out how they could possibly keep Williams.

Now, Becton and Baun have supplanted him as the FAs to keep.  Fred Johnson is a consideration.  As well as the extensions for Jurgens and Dean.

Becton is playing really well at RG.  He also offers the possibility of moving out to RT to replace Lane.

Steen offers solid play at RG and the same possibility of RT.  They could be starting next to each other in 2026.

Keep them both and let Keegan be the #6/7 OL.
