It was a huge hit but they shouldn't be comparing it to the Brown hit. And if we're being honest there are a lot of better tackles before that aren't legal now. Cooper's hit was just impressive because he wrapped up Henry and tackled him. You don't see too many players doing that him. Especially a rookie. You damn sure don't see too many defenders wrapping them up. It's the shoulder tap tackle nowadays

The impressive part was lifting Henry off his feet.

Atlanta has to be kicking themselves when they look at the next 3 picks after Pitts. Chase, waddle and Sewell. I loved Sewell. Who i wanted the eagles to grab if they stayed at 6.

heck picks 9 and 10 too as it was surtain and Devonta smith

The Falcons have two of the biggest first round blunders in recent memory. The Pitts pick has already panned out, with 5 pro bowlers taken right after him. The second, Penix, will show soon.

I freeze framed it too and thought he moved about two (possibly only one) frame(s) before Jurgens started to move the ball. It’s probably not easy to pick up with the naked eye, but I would consider it a technical false start. Not worth stressing over since it went our way.

Makes up for a fraction of the 435 holding penalties they didn't call against the Ravens.

Good discussions about our top FA‘s in 25. I would hope that they try everything remotely possible to retain Baun. I would view Williams as a second priority and then maybe Sweat. Could consider Becton before Sweat, but definitely not ahead of Baun.

How many years has it been that we’ve had a playmaker at linebacker? It’s been ages that we actually had competent play at that position. Now it’s not the laughingstock of the league because Baun and even Dean have played really well. Keeping this defense together should be a top priority, as the offense has enough firepower next year. Becton has also played really well, but if he leaves, his spot can be filled with not a lot of drop off.

We’ve been screaming for quality linebackers for ages, so why would you let a playmaker leave that surprisingly fell into your lap?

Keep the D together as long as possible. Their play is one of the biggest reasons for the turnaround from last year.

Most amazing about the D is that, Slay aside, the oldest starter is 27 and most are under 25. Ringo, in his third year, is still only 22. Not a starter, true, but a contributor and special teams ace.

He should have Coop do it.

I forget who did the video but I've seen it explained that they are allowed to move as long as the front foot is staying in place.

Peters started this in his old age.  Lane has annoyed opposing fans with it.  But I've also begun to notice some OTs for other teams doing it as well.

They're basically beginning their kick slide with the back foot but the front foot isn't moving till the ball is snapped.

Was it Jawaan Taylor (current/former chiefs RT?) that had a similar approach -or- was it that he was allowed to play from the backfield rather the center's belt line?

Off the leash and just walking around? I see people with 'support' dogs in stores a lot but they're usually in a bag when they're small or on a leash when they're big

Some team is going to take a chance thinking it was just the Jets. Wouldn't be surprised if it was multiple teams asking

I'm not so sure.  He's 2 years older than when he landed with the Jets, he's had a major injury since then, and his personality hasn't changed to make him more relatable to teammates and coaches.   I think the sand in his hour glass might have run out.   He's already over 40.   How many QBs over 40 have gone on to great success with a new team, new scheme, new weapons?  There's Tom Brady and ???   Even Paintin' Manning knew that he was done by that point.

That and the false start by Landon Dickerson on the Tush Push that almost ended in disaster, but somehow ended in a TD instead.

Didn't escalate enough. 99% of the time when this happens, these dogs are being used as "practice" for pitbull or other dog fighting operations. F those pieces of ish, dysentery isn't painful enough. I hope they die of dysentery and shingles.

Wishing death on people is pretty extreme.

Haha, how about just the appropriate jail time, and or fines for the dog thieves?

In terms of AR, he'd be smart to just retire.

Eh. To each their own. People who abuse kids, animals, and the elderly hold a special place in hell for me.

I'm really surprised the refs missed that one, given they've been itching to throw phantom flags in the past.

Long term suffering works too.

You could probably put AR on the right team and he'd have some success, but it would have to be a team with a great defense and a strong running game.

Oh, hey, that kind of sounds like the Minnesota Vikings, doesn't it?

How in the world did Ringo end up with his dogs in a Target?  Is there a reason why the dogs were in Target in the first place?

It was his mother's dog, not his.
