There are currently 11 teams in the NFL who are a minimum 6 games above or below .500 and only the three NFC West teams at .500 — with only three others a game above or below.

Is parity in the NFL beginning to disappear?

Props to the Bills.  Josh said screw a FG and won the game on that run. KC ran out of time, it's hard to tie with less than 2 minutes down two scores. Yes it has happen but it's hard. But also props to KC.   Winning two Super Bowls and starting 9-0 was crazy. It seems the top teams are separating themselves from the bunch.   Eagles are on the Lions bumper.  Bills are on the Chiefs bumper.    Championship Sunday collusion course?  Well Lions still have to deal with Vikings and Greenbay.  Eagles still have Washington on their heels.   So it's not done yet but again as I've said, this season is really Top heavy. It's unbelievable how many AFC Teams only have 2 or 3 wins and there's only 7 weeks left.  The NFC Playoff picture is taking shape, it seems seeding will still have to be decided.  The NFC West everyone is 1 game behind each other so it's still anyone division including the current last place 49ers.    NFC North is a bloodbath right now.   Falcons will probably take the South.

The Bengals offense is no joke. Makes our defensive performance look better in hindsight. We took it to Cinci/Wash. Our defense should be able to hang with anyone.

Think we can limit Rams to under 22, which should be enough to win.

Sorry, but I think the Bengals' offense is highly overrated.  They put up 17 on the vaunted Giants' D.  10 on the Patriots.  I just don't think they are what people claim they are.   Burrow is really good.   Chase is excellent.  Higgins is really good.   And that's about where it ends.  Their OL is still bad, their running game is poor.

That's not to say the Eagles can't hang with anyone, but I don't see the Bengals as a measuring stick.

Daniel Jones benched.

I said before my top 6 is some order of Allen, hurts, Barkley, Lamar, Goff and Henry. Frankly, without Saquon, we would definitely not be 8-2. So a case for him can be made

To be fair, if he caught that one pass in the Falcons games, we would be 9-1.

The Shadeur Sanders watch is on in NYG land.

Bengals are top 10 in PPG and YPG. That's legit. They always start slow otherwise they'd be top 5.

What is the measuring stick?

I'll tell you --- It's a 17 game schedule, not 1 individual opponent. People can downplay each opponent all they want. We went into New Orleans and played a team averaging 45.5 points per game and held them to 12 points. But that was just 1 of 10 games played so far. We went into tampa and couldn't tackle at all. It's not this game or that game --- it's all of them and so far, we've had far more good defensive games than bad. This defense is the real deal and getting better as well.

Next up on the hit list, LA Rams.   They have won the last 4 or 5 games but have been up and down this season at 5-5.  They started the season 1-4.   The Eagles have had the Rams number for a while now.   Since losing the NFC Championship game in 2002, the Eagles have won 8 of 10 games against the Rams (Including winning the last 7 out of 8 games).  They are also 3-0 in Los Angeles during that time.   The Rams have a lot of offensive firepower but their Defense hasn't been the same since Donald left.   Defense will have to keep Stafford and company in check but as of now the Eagles are playing better.   Also the Birds have been Road Warriors this year.   The Eagles are 4-1 on the Road (5-1 if you include Brazil which was a "Home" game, lol).

So they are going with the goofy meme guy over Drew Lock? Giants are such a joke.

The Rams will be the biggest challenge yet for the defense.

This is a crucial game if the Eagles want any chance at the #1 seed.  Not only do we need to make up a game on the Lions, but it has to be an NFC game which seems almost impossible at this point.

Sounds like their main objective is to make sure Jones doesn’t get hurt thus protecting themselves against his $23M injury guarantee. As for the replacement, I can only guess they’re not too interested in winning at this stage to not hurt their draft status.

The Lions/Bears and Dolphins/Packers will save families from that Cooper/Devito Boys/GMen matchup on Thanksgiving. lol.  I'm not watching that mess, might watch "Gladiator II" instead and eat when I get home, lol.

The Bengals just can't catch a break and keep losing all these close games.   Burrow and that Offense has been playing lights out most of the year but they can't overcome their Defense.   People keeping saying they will "Dig out" of the hole but now the hole is getting too deep.  Lucky for them, the AFC is a mess so they are still alive.

Blog wouldn't shut up for a week if Jalen missed a streaking open WR deep like that.

Jalen would have already tucked it and ran for 1 yard with a cool slide.
