Detroit could easily lose to Buffalo and Minnesota. Hell maybe the bears without brainless eberfluss

I think Buffalo beats them, but they won't lose to the bears. Minnesota game might be a bit more of a toss up this time but a lot depends on Darnold. Still hard to believe the Vikes have only lost two games all year.

Lions weren't exactly the model of health on defense either. Packers made some key plays on offense to keep them in it, but missing defenders or not, Ben Johnson is one of the best in the league at what he does. Lions are gonna be so screwed without him.

Yeah it’s why i said the other week curious to see how the lions and Dan Campbell fares once Johnson leaves. I think they are gonna miss him a ton and Campbell’s coaching won’t look nearly as great.

Lions have a ton. However lions have a bunch of guys who aren’t expected back on defense. Packers have guys who should be back over the next couple weeks.

Not sure how that helps when the Lions don't play them again unless they draw them in the divisional round. Hard to project that far out who will be seeded where.

I think home field is still possible. I actually think the Washington game might be tougher than the Steelers game. It's hard to sweep divisional opponents and the Steelers always play like trash in Philly and I don't think their offense is as good as it's played in recent weeks. The Eagles should win both, but if they drop one I think it would be Washington. I think the Bills will beat the Lions. Who knows about the Bears and Vikings. I just can't see the Lions only losing 2 games on the season.

Things can change, but as of now it looks like the Lions would play ATL and then go back to Detroit. I think that's why he is mentioning that.

Packers are going to be the 5 or 6 seed as lions are likely to win the division (i don’t see Minnesota getting to week 18 at 14-2 to have a chance to beat the lions for the crown). If the packers manage to win the WC card game a solid chance they face the lions (especially if they are the 6 seed and the eagles as the 2 beat the 7)

Hard to say if the Vikings are even playing for anything last week of the season.

Refs and luck keep them in games they should lose. It will catch up to them, but there is a very good chance they will only lose one more. Division games are hard, though. You are right. It will be really fun playing them in the playoffs as well.

You mean GB? They’d be the 6 seed. Which means they’d go to Seattle who’s the 3 seed. Just so happens the packers play Seattle in Seattle next week

Yeah, that's another problem. They could very well be playing that as a BYE.

Yes, sorry I'm falling asleep.

I’d take the lions but that bears game is going to be outdoors and cold in Chicago. It’ll be only the 2nd outdoor game the lions have played all year. Eberflus is gone so curious to see if the bears play better or just crumble and give up completely

That's freaking unreal. 2 games outside all freaking year. Wait, do you mean in the cold?

They only play 3 all year. Gb, bears and sf.

Hard to speculate on these type things but to me it feels like Bears players will coast more then respond to Eberflus getting fired at this point in the season with their record.

Yeah, true. Looks like they play the Packers the week prior but a 1-3 division record for GB likely means they won't be within striking distance either way.

their schedule is pretty rough. They got at sf, at Minnesota, vs. lions, vs. seattle and at Gb. 4 current playoff teams. Frankly i think they play well this week then it probably wears off and they revert back to what they are

Season ended tonight. Thanks to the NFL and their new playoff format…3 games instead of 2 and have to play in their BS dome if you even get there.

Since one team gets a bye the Eagles are virtually locked into playing the Skins. Good job NFL, 5 games remaining and you’re basically locked into that matchup.

Can go 15-2 or 14-3 and not get a bye.

The refs and the NFL won’t let them lose. It’s basically predetermined. Look at Love get his head ripped off and 0 penalty.

I’m sick of the product (Clearly). Give the Rams Ravens and Jags free (blatant) points.

sickening - I almost feel as if it’s WWF. Sees so scripted.

Don’t get me started on domes.

Goff outside vs inside feels like a different sport altogether.

Sorry for the rambling but this feels like a fatal blow

Agree. They get the one game bump of "yea F that guy” and then go 1-2-3 Cancun.

Doubt it, Bears blow. Lions are a power running team, being outside didn't matter when they stomped out the Packers in Lambeau a month ago.

I don’t think the bears pull it off. I’d take the lions in the game. But out of bears and SF (lions last two road games), i think Chicago has a better shot if they don’t just give up on the year as maybe they rally around HC being fired and have confidence as they played the lions well in Detroit (second half). Sf is more talented team but feels like sf is on the verge of an implosion. Plus i think Detroit will want payback for last year and like to end the niners playoff hopes. Happen stance bears and niners play each other this weekend

That said i really don’t see the lions losing more than 1 game the rest of the way. if they beat the bills at home next week, they might not lose another unless they just don’t take week 18 seriously.

GB seems more like they're headed for a first rd exit but we'll see.

Yeah that one felt like our final blow to not getting the #1 seed!

On the afc side of things, if the bills can beat the rams and lions the next 2 weeks then i tend to think they get the 1 seed. They finish with vs. New England, vs jets and at New England after these next 2 games. Chiefs schedule is much tougher as they have: vs. chargers, at browns, vs. Texans, at Pittsburgh and at broncos. I don’t see the the chiefs going 5-0 in that stretch.
