Gotta go somewhere with a QB, I'd think. 3-5 year window on his career. DAL or JAX.

If the bills fall short of the afc title game i wouldn’t be shocked if they make a move. Belichick would probably be right up there. Add on i think he’d love to stick it to Kraft as rumors they weren’t on great terms when they moved off of him. Really this is the year for them. Chiefs offense isn’t what it has been. Ravens are up and down. Steelers aren’t better than them.

My hope with beating Detroit is that defense and a running game travel.  We have to hope they have 2 more losses as they have a tiebreaker if they just have one more loss.

I’m honestly curious why you’d say the Lions would have the tiebreak with us with one more loss. Let’s say they lose to the Packers and win the rest of their games while we go undefeated. This isn’t likely of course but rather a what if. We’d both be 15-2 with two conferences losses. We’d both have lost to the Bucs, so ignore that. Their other loss would be to the Packers, a team we beat. We would surely have them on common opponents.

Forget losing to the Packers for a minute. As long as their additional loss is to an NFC team, we’d have the same conference record. I would assume we’d have the same record against common opponents. Maybe strength of victory would go their way but is that even a guarantee at this point?

I always make the same comment with these, but why are women trying to physically intervene in all of these?  I wouldn't be too impressed if someone knocked the (whatever that is -- paddle?) out of my hands, either -- but that's pretty gutless to kick someone when they aren't even looking.

Van Damme there won't have much of a life expectancy left when he tries that with the wrong person.

So Charles is not retiring. Good.

SPOILER ALERT: Neither of those teams has a championship level QB

How many times does a defender that Lane is blocking have to make a sack before people will admit that he gave up a sack? He had one earlier in the year where the ball was snapped early and he didn’t move initially and his guy sacked the quarterback. And wasn’t there a sack the other night where Hurts stepped up into the pocket and the guy Johnson had been blocking chased him down for the sack?

Odd how standards seem to swing pretty wildly around here. Kelce smashes a guy's phone who's being a jerk, the reaction is that he deserved it. Guy being a jerk gets kicked in the face, and suddenly it's "wow, I can't believe that happened."

Either both cases are assault or both cases are "mess around and find out."

I mean, there's a difference between damaging property and inflicting bodily harm.

Not comparing them as apples to apples situations, but more the reactions being polar opposites to each other online.

It's common opponents if we win out and Detroit loses to GB.

I'm not sure the guy even knocked the paddle out of his hand on purpose, judging by how he immediately bent down to pick it up. Not remotely close to the same thing as hurling slurs at someone's family member in a very public setting.

Yup. Must-win game vs. LA if we want the #1 seed.

Maybe because one is a textbook case of assault and the other isn't

While you've been discussing #1 seed, I've been looking at #2 seed scenarios.  The struggles of the NFCS and NFCW make it very likely.

Basically, we can even lose to LA, BAL, and PIT and still secure the #2 seed if we win our other 4 games (@Was, Car, Dal, and NYG) AND Arizona, Seattle, and Atlanta lose at least one more game.  Arizona and Seattle still play each other twice.

They’ll lose that too…

Because their actions are very different worthy of peopls reactions being polar opposites. No one would care if he grabbed his paddle and chucked it away.....kicking a defenseless guy in the face is a coward act.

I actually saw that and was wondering why a penalty wasn't called.  I think they called a penalty against Jordan Davis last year on a placekick when his shoulder touched the long snapper.  Yesterday, the Packer was all over him right after the snap.

Oh i 100% believe it should’ve been called. You can see it from every angle. However I’m guessing the nfl comes up with some BS reason why it wasn’t. I feel like that’s what tends to happen

Yeah I think he went to slap hands and the other guy had his paddle out so he smacked it instead and accidentally knocked it out of his hand.  The dude that kicked him in the face was in the wrong there

The first was on the ref for not throwing the flag. The second was on Hurts for running into the sack. I understand your point but neither sack was Lane’s fault. The claim that he has given up only two pressures is less convincing to me. He takes such a deep drop that he impinges on the pocket at times. When he crowds Hurts, Jalen sometimes has to bail.
