AJ is getting frustrated. He also did a tweet and delete last week about how anyone that thinks he’s not playing well to check the tape and he’s doing his part to get open but the ball isn’t coming to him.

Terrible QB draft class this year and they’re held hostage by Hurts’s contract. There’s too much talent on this team to hit the reset button at that position and he isn’t playing bad enough for them to do that.

Sunk cost fallacy. Hurts’ contract is irrelevant. If drafting a QB to replace Hurts would improve this team the most, then that is what we should do.

I figure cutting Jalen is out of the question (for a number of reasons) for another couple seasons - but can we afford to trade him capwise?

49 million cap hit after the end of next season.  Impossible to do anything before then.

He has a right to be frustrated. He has an ego, like most receivers, so I don’t mind him venting. He’s earned the right to be like that. Him and Hurts have a brother relationship so it’ll never get personal between them.

Which QB would you take this year?

Crazy hearing Stafford orchestrate the offense so clearly, calling out defensive alignments and blitzes, and just basically being in total control.

It's impressive.

Reub on the post game show is such a hurts fluffer its hilarious. The other guys are awkwardly trying to dance around his comments trying to make the show not look ridiculous.

I agree that he can be overly criticized, but I also don’t think this game is a great time to defend that.  I think it may have been his worst game this year (outside a couple big runs that were huge).  His decision making on that last drive was pretty bad to put it mildly.

I don’t mind Hurts getting criticized when it’s deserved, and today it is.  My issue with much of his criticism is that some of it is very lazy, and often inaccurate, analysis.  And some don’t give him credit when it is deserved…those are my main issues with it.  But yeah, today was not one of his better days.  He’d probably say the same thing

I think the NO game was his worst, and he had 311 passing yards and 2 turnovers in that game. I'm all for criticizing him for being gun shy today, but he accounted for all 3 TDs today. That's where I argue back about him being "terrible."

Like, he was criticized on a TD pass to Calc because he didn't throw it to AJ instead. That’s crazy lol. But I do agree, that we need him to not play scared. Not sure what that was about today.

We all know how this is going to end.  Maybe the Eagles win the next 2 SBs…maybe they have really disappointing results for the next 2 playoff dances.

Either way…happy ending or tragic…the ending comes in 2 years.  That’s when the Saquan express ride ends.  It’s an exhilarating ride, but will be a short one.  Just another pro bowl back doesn’t replace Saquan.  This is a generational runner right now.  Once that comes out of the offense, they have to reinvent themselves again.

Not sure, QBs haven’t been on my radar until the last couple weeks.

Not sure how that jet sweep fooled the entire D…but it did.

I don’t disagree with eventually finding a Hurts replacement, but this isn’t the year to do it given the supply coming out this year. Unless if you’re a Ewers, Gabriel, or Carson Beck fan.

Rams are going to be a sneaky playoff team if they make it. Could end up being the #7 seed?

Probably not. Rams have 6 wins and 5 (including today) to go. Commanders are the 7th and have 8 wins with 4 to go and easily should get to 10 with games against Saints, Falcons and Cowboys.

Given what we saw today, i wouldn’t be shocked if after all 22 review he actually tried to throw to AJ there and the fact that they were stacked at that point in there routes is why Calc ended up with the TD.

Bijan Robinson should be coming available around that time.

It's crazy how polarizing Hurts is in the fanbase. He's either a complete bum, a mid game manager, or an elite QB that some people in the fanbase wouldn't trade him for Mahomes, Allen, or Burrow. lol

He’s firmly in the middle of bum and elite, you just have people on both sides of the pendulum.

Gabriel will wind up being a plus QB in the NFL. Not saying I want him here in Philly. But dude has the look.

Nah too high an opportunity cost

49ers aren’t making the playoffs and even if they do who cares. All their stars are hurt. They would be bounced in the WC game.

I mean they look pretty good so far today (albeit against the Bears but still they are handling them).

I agree Barkley is gone in 2 years.

But I don’t agree that we will have to reinvent ourselves. We can keep 4 of our 5 starting linemen together for the next 5 years.

We don’t need a generational talent. A true bro bowl caliber RB will produce like an all-pro behind this offensive line. Just look at the Lions. They don’t have Barkley and as good as their OL is, it’s not on our level, yet they have a similarly dominating ground attack.

Bring in a true pro bowl caliber player, pair him with a quality starter level player, and run those two behind this OL for 12+ wins per year.

Next years class is far better and the place to find the next qb

And yet he lost by 17 to us. They also have 6 losses for how great he orchestrates. Didn't they lose to the bears? He had a whopping 0 TDs and an INT.

If Penix ends up starting and looking good…maybe the move is Gabriel and join in on the draft a guy who played 17 years of CFB.

TBH at some point they really need to figure out what they have with McKee.  If they determine he could progress to be a solid NFL starting QB then that would save (potentially) a ton of draft capital searching for a QB
