I don’t disagree with eventually finding a Hurts replacement, but this isn’t the year to do it given the supply coming out this year. Unless if you’re a Ewers, Gabriel, or Carson Beck fan.

That kid Milroe from Alabama looks like he could do exactly what Hurts does — maybe even better — but on a second or third round rookie deal.

Probably not. Rams have 6 wins and 5 (including today) to go. Commanders are the 7th and have 8 wins with 4 to go and easily should get to 10 with games against Saints, Falcons and Cowboys.

Fair point! Mind you not sure I’m thrilled by the idea of facing Washington in the dust playoff game… we should beat them but they are tricky with Daniels.

I mean they look pretty good so far today (albeit against the Bears but still they are handling them).

That’s fine. Too bad they looked like trash the previous 12 games.

Reub on the post game show is such a hurts fluffer its hilarious. The other guys are awkwardly trying to dance around his comments trying to make the show not look ridiculous.

Reub is a buffoon

TBH at some point they really need to figure out what they have with McKee.  If they determine he could progress to be a solid NFL starting QB then that would save (potentially) a ton of draft capital searching for a QB

McKee is not ever going to play unless it's in garbage time.

Milroe will go first rd and be a poor qb. Hard pass

Not that anyone cares, but they have to go back to the white socks. The black ones are much worse.

It’s not ideal playing Washington for a 3rd time but it’s probably the best matchup. I’d rather play them than the Vikings or Packers. Only better matchup is who wins the 4 seed which shouldn’t happen unless Eagles collapse again.

Kinda takes the wind out of the sails about his "heads up” penalty he just did last week

Feels like Hurts has been hesitant on the trigger due to his emphasis on protecting the ball.  Watching Allen constantly throw ish up as he is running for his life is how Hurts used to play.  That is going to bite him at some point. Frankly, I prefer the conservative Hurts that has won 9 games in a row and isn't turning it over.

This has to be the worst 9 game winning streak of all time lol

That makes his decision even worse…since he decided to drift to the sideline looking for options to throw instead of at least trying to run and pick up positive yards.

AJ Brown:

"Jalen Hurts is ass"

EMB:

Hurts is a top 10 QB and an MVP caliber player

2023 was last season…

Which QB would you take this year?

Cam Ward, but he'll go top 10. No shot for us

The problem is the playcalling, they've really simplified the offense, and they're basically asking WRs to win one on one battles consistently, with little effort to scheme them open.

Too much is run, run, play action with deep routes.

When they call slants, they're effective, but almost no RB screens, no TEs going down the seams, etc.

Guess I'm spoiled by AR.

They’ve had this type of offense since Hurts has taken over. It’s always been simplistic and the wideouts (mainly AJ and Smith) have always been asked to win one on one battles… nothing has really changed in the passing game.

It won’t be the Vikings or Packers bud… They’ll be the #5 and 6 seeds.

Someone on here was saying he was bullied into being careful and not pulling the trigger 😂😂😂😂😂

Oh I know I just meant out of all the presumable wild card teams. Washington is 82% likely to get a WC seed and the other two are 99%, so it’s likely going to be one of those 3.

If we were free and clear of Hurts’ contract I can see Milroe as an easy transition - but I wouldn’t want to take the cap hit, and use a 1st for a Hurts clone with the usual question marks. Rather roll with Hurts as a known commodity … tbd if you can win the how thing with a stacked team and a mid QB.

It won't be long before our all-world receivers turn on Hurts.

Good. Acknowledging the issues is the first step to correcting them. Today was a bad day for the passing offense - 83 yards on 25 dropbacks!

AJ is getting frustrated. He also did a tweet and delete last week about how anyone that thinks he’s not playing well to check the tape and he’s doing his part to get open but the ball isn’t coming to him.

Brown at 15th in yards even with Barkley setting records is pretty crazy

Smith is 52nd

I know injuries were a problem for both but this passing threat has been wasted
