They can be a run first team, but one thing they can do is go back to more conventional runs.   Activate the FB, go to I formation, run traditional play action pass, and design and call some plays that are specifically designed to feed Brown and Smith a little.   With Goedert out, and no real #3 WR, that's all it would take.   If they throw the ball 20 times a game, and 10 of them are specifically focused on getting the ball to Brown and Smith... maybe on a slant or seven, since Brown is almost unstoppable on those, its an easy problem to fix.   But, they need to take some of the decision making away from Hurts.  Fewer RPOs and ROs.  More straight runs, and straight passes.  Don't make him do all the decision making.  Keep it simpler for him.  Hand to Barkley.  Throw to AJ and Davonta.  It's not that complicated.

Other recent comments from AJ and Smith make me think they’re on the Lane Johnson train…it has nothing to do with lack of targets.  It’s that when the pass game is dialed up and called upon it usually ends in disaster.

Is JP still in the league? If not, we need to sign him just to intimidate Jake on the sidelines, 'No more missed kicks!'

He's in seattle

The Bills defense is getting shredded. Rams look like the greatest show on turf.
Our D played lights out against them, so I’ll give them a pass for todays effort.

Bills defense is frankly overrated. They are not good at stopping the run. I think their pass defense isnt as good as their numbers indicate. I’ve said this before if the bills come up short again this year the. They need to make a change at HC. It basically would be at the dungy Bucs stage

I like how the Eagles match up with the Steelers.

The Steelers keep everyone in the game with how they play, so we'll have a cushion for the typical 1st quarter no-show.

Russ will seem like a statue after Lamar and Young, so I expect the Eagles to sack him a few times.

The Steelers are basically a less talented version of the Eagles.  Eventually I think the Eagles wear them down and may win by double digits.

We have just as good as Josh Allen

Allen really needs to find a way to stop the Rams' passing attack!

He’s a really good QB, even though he hasn’t played his best today. It’s hard to win though when your defense plays as horrible as the Bills D has.

Anytime the Cowboys look remotely successful the entire media collectively gets on their knees to praise them.  Typically the truth is somewhere in the middle…Moore isn’t a terrible OC, but he’s far from one of the best.

He had two top 5 offenses in Dallas, that isn't the media praising them that's what the stats were. It was when he was hired here that media members were saying how much better this offense would be with Moores creativity

So, we greatest offense ever then? Sweet!

Exactly, but people want to keep QB records.    Meanwhile, its not over yet.  Bills might be able to pull with in 3 soon.

Idk, Wilson has really played well and seems to have rejuvenated his career. It’s gonna be a tough task for our defense, which didnt put a lot of pressure on Young today either.

No, we are equally the greatest offense ever

There has to be some sort of a disconnect between Hurts and Moore. Don’t know what it is but my feeling is Moore calls a very simplistic game plan for Hurts.

Honestly it feels like I’m watching the same offense Penn State ran when Barkley was there. Just so much read option and the same 2-3 pass plays.

Oh, okay. Well, I think that equally deserves a "sweet!”

Which years?  Dallas had some seriously talented teams then…

Also, isn’t statistically the Eagles still a top 5 O?

This is a weird year all around for the NFL. QB play is down league wide, so is offensive play as well.

I’m at the point where it’s mostly because of Hurts that they call simplistic plays. We’ve seen these plays over and over for the last couple of years. The league has figured it out and if it wasn’t for the superb o-line - Barkley combination, we would be in a world of "hurt”.

We have Josh Allen at home

How can people watch Allen and think that he and Hurts are in the same universe?

The Philadelphia Eagles now have a 3 Game Lead on the Washington Commanders.  With their Panthers win today, the Dallas Cowboys are officially Eliminated from NFC East Division Title Contention.  This means there will be a new NFC East Champion for the 20th Straight Season.  With a win against the Steelers, the Eagles can Clinch the Division Title next Sunday.

By which metric?  Passing?  Right now they have to be close to 32nd.

If Allen brings the Bills all the way back and they end up winning, he will be in the drivers seat for MVP.
