Its really hard to make guesses on this stuff because the presence of Barkley means they are hardly throwing the ball at all, what I know is that if they are winning at this clip with an MVP RB and #1 defense then stick to that because it's working

The less qb1 throws the better. Eagles win. Put the ball in qb1 hands and make him throw 30 times a game, Eagles lose. I don't have any faith with him winning us a game with his arm

4.5 point favorites against Pittsburgh next week. What story does that tell?

IMO they have to play better than they did against the ravens and panthers. I’d say the bengals put points on them but burrow is playing at a high level right now. We have Barkley playing at that level and the rest of the offense isn’t at that point.

Eagles are probably 8-5 without Barkley

Who's replacing his production? Certainly isn't going to be hurts throwing the ball. Barkley has single handedly kept us in every single game, without him the offense goes nowhere.

That these number don't mean a thing

Rams game was an absolute whooping. Holding the Ravens #1 ranked offense to 12 points at home also qualifies.

Eagles are as good a team as there is in the NFL. Don't let today's sleep walking performance convince you otherwise.

Im not disputing rams game bc I didn't watch

I am not too concerned about overall performance today bc sometimes teams have ugly wins against bad teams. But sorry the same issues with the offense and specifically huts still persist as they have throughout the season.

Hurts has gotten to the point that he won’t throw it to a guy unless he’s got a few yards of separation.  In the NFL that is rare and just won’t cut it.

I don't think that's true, his difficulty per completion this year is highest in the NFL. He will throw a lot of one on one balls. The problem is those are always to the sideline. He misses guys over the middle. And in general I just don't think they're good at giving him wide open looks.

Qb1 would have to run more. Chances are he would be injured already. I agree. He won't win us a game with his arm

Yup. I’d be surprised if that line doesn’t come down to 2.5 by kickoff unless Pickens is ruled out

who is this person on SNF..I don't want to hear a kc sloberfest 🤢

They absolutely do lol

Vegas isn't making up numbers for the fun of it. What a dumb post.

I very strongly dislike the Chiefs.

It won't. 2.5 points for home field and we are a better team than them. Won't go below 3.5 if that

The overproduction and celeb factor of primetime football is nauseating.

The abundance of childish graphics, shots of fing T Swift and pointless sideline reports....just shut the F up and do football

Dicker the Kicker! Go Chargers.

He and Hurts are basically the same.

They're both playing in close games that'll come down to the wire. Hurts had 140 yards Allen is knocking on the door of 500 with a much worse offense around him.

Potato, potahto

So...now it's ok to combine rush stats with passing stats? 🤔 🤣

This is not a defense of Hurts, and Allen is playing great. Just about the combining stats issue.

Allen had 342 pass yards and 3 pass TDs. 82 rush yards, 3 rush TDs. Total yards 424, 6 TDs.

Allen is great, Hurts sucks, yadda yadda I get it. But it's hypocritical to combine stats for others if you don't like it when people do it for Hurts.

They have 5 wins of 3+ possessions. Take SF for instance; they held Purdy to 94 yards passing and the Niners to 10 points. If they had Baker Mayfield as QB, it would cause Purdy to figure out Buffalo’s defense?

You are assuming baker mayfield plays well in a Snowstorm and can make some of the plays Allen did in that game. Also give them that win they likely aren’t beating Miami if Tua doesn’t get knocked out without Allen and that was a 3+. Also Seattle game looks much different without Josh Allen. I think you’re also ignoring the fact that Josh Allen makes a lot of those guys on that offense look better simply because of how good he is and how teams have to defend him. It’s much easier to come up with a game plan against Baker Mayfield with weapons of James Cook, Amari Cooper and Dalton Kincaid along with a defense at the bottom half in the league against the run and frankly overrated when they play good quarterbacks.

What are the odds. The refs make a bs call to gift a Chiefs win?

I'm sure the refs have their red undershirts on again.

Some pass interference BS I'm sure where the defender grazes the WR shoulder pad and ref jizzes himself reaching for a flag

Not saying it’ll happen but it’s an interesting conversation, but if the eagles  get into a game in the playoffs where hurts can’t get it done with his arm and prevents them from advancing then do they consider what the rams did with Goff. Where if a Qb becomes available and they feel like gives them a better shot at winning and make a trade for that Qb. Don’t see a Qb like that becoming available but hypothetically i do wonder if they have that convo

I think the Rams had a confident/arrogant coach with a system.  He believed that he’d win it all with a more talented qb to run his system.  He was pounding the table for that.

Howie is aggressive and will make a bold move, but he’s not running the offense.  We don’t have a system.  We’ve gone so far down the run heavy RPO path at this point.

I think we either win a SB in the next 2 years as is with Hurts kicking the ball around and running for big plays or better luck in the next rebuild.

It will be on a 4th and 19 too at the end of the game.

All I know is this, anybody who thinks Jalen hurts is better than Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes or Joe Burrow is lying. Those three are the three best quarterbacks in the league. Frankly Herbert is likely up there cause he’s doing some of these with a really weak supporting cast.

this isn’t Jalen hurt sucks. This is just more realistic of Jalen hurts is probably somewhere between 7 and 12 in the league. I don’t think he’s as bad as he look today. I also don’t think he’s as good as he looked in 2022. The problem is your window to win a Super Bowl is right now. And they need him to get his crap together passing the ball along with moore getting his crap together.

Next week is big for seeding.

If the Eagles beat the Steelers and Bills beat the Lions, then the chase for the #1 seed is alive and well.

If the Eagles beat the Steelers and the Lions win, then the regular season loses almost all meaning.  Division wrapped up and #1 seed isn’t happening.  Rest and wellness become THE priority for the final 3 games.

Lose to the Steelers and then they have to keep playing to wrap up the division.

If Eagles and Lions both win, Eagles stay 2 games behind with 3 games to go. Makes it less likely but not "lose all meaning”. With how the schedule shakes out with Eagles playing Week 17 Dec 29th and Lions on the 30th, Eagles are likely going to have to play starters and win games until maybe the last game of the season, which isn’t a gimme either.

You’re both right.  Hurts will throw a rainbow down the sideline to (almost only) Brown regardless of the coverage, giving him a chance to get under it and make a play.

That’s the only throw he’ll make without seeing someone wide open first.

Ok but...none of that has anything to do with the double standard of combining stats. There are like 2, maybe 3, posters here who think Hurts is close to a top QB.
