The reason for #3….it seems the Eagles do have tiebreakers over the Vikings should they both finish 15-2.  But the Lions have tiebreakers over the Vikings.  So unless the Lions go into the week 18 Detroit game at 14-2, they aren’t going to have reason to play.

So if 1-3 fail to happen before week 18, it’s all about rest at that point.  This is very, very unlikely.

 

Vikings don't need to beat the packers. If they win their last 4 as you propose, they could eventually get the 1 seed if Detroit falters. If we lose another game and they stay at 2 losses while the Lions lose 2 more games, we're still the 2 seed

There is only one certainty in sports and that is that the Mets will never win a World Series. Biggest loser franchise in all of sports. LOLMets is a meme for a reason.

Chiefs defense reminds me of the eagles last year. When they need to get stops and off the field they can’t

I found one random article stating the Eagles had SoS tiebreaker over the Vikings.  If the Vikings have the tiebreaker, the #1 seed is already gone.  That would mean both Detroit and Minnesota need to finish the season with 3 losses.  

Detroit has the SoS tiebreaker over the Eagles and the Vikings.  That means the Vikings aren’t going to play starters against Detroit in week 18 unless they have the same record.  

14-2 DET vs 14-2 MIN means we are screwed either way.  14-2 DET vs 13-3 MIN means MIN quits.  So we’d need Detroit to lose 2 games BEFORE week 18.

Detroit could easily lose to the Bills.  But they aren’t going 1-2 in the next 3 weeks.

The #1 seed will be out of play for the Eagles in week 18, so they should be able to rest the starters no problem.

Can’t wait to see how KC gets bailed out here. 

Chiefs will get stopped on 4th down but there will be a late flag to keep their drive alive.

Curious to see what the chiefs do after the two minute warning. Frankly I’d just run it and burn 40+ seconds and kick the field goal or hope i pick up the first. But i wouldn’t be shocked if the chiefs try to throw it
