Eagles fans tend to be "bi-polar” when it comes to the Eagles.  And unfortunately it doesn’t seem to get better with time - seems to get worse for some. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Facts.... I was waiting for them to come back to similar routes that Thielen was running where he ends up with a crosser on the opposite side of the field where he started but that rarely happens. There were a few where AJ would be wide open but they break the route upfield for whatever reason.

There are some passing plays that kind of feel like they should be a staple of this offense. A slant to AJ. A curl route to Smith. Mess plays when Goedert is healthy. But it doesn’t feel like we see these plays very often at all.

When you're paying a qb 250 million, you expect him to play like he's worth his contract. He hasn't the last 2 years. He's regressed in the passing game each of the last 2 seasons

The Thielen crossers were man breakers, I don’t think opposing defenses are giving that to Jalen as he has difficulty reading zone.

AJ is 100% right to sulk. Was at the game yesterday in S230. Hurts won’t throw him the ball unless he’s 5 yds open. If I can see it you damn well know the coaches see it when reviewing tape. He’s afraid to throw anything that isn’t wide open over the middle, which rarely happens in this league. There’s no way they can compete in a shootout with him mentally hampered like this.

I'm in 235 right between the uprights... this isn't a 1st time thing..Jalen is not throwing...not seeing ..and holding the ball too damn long.

With the weapons we have and the OL there is NO reason for that...none.

Not buying that one. They ran those plays to finally try to get some targets to Brown and they seem to always work.

How many times?

I agree, they always seem to work, when he throws it.  But how many times do they run it compared to how many times he throws it?  Does he throw it every time they run it or just when he has a lane to see through?  We don't know exactly what he sees or doesn't see.   But, when they run the slant to the left, there's Mailata and Dickerson over there, plus the DL to see around, over or through.  How many times does he see him?   And does he hold the ball in the situations where he can't see him?  Or, does he hold the ball for other reasons?

He's the weak link on offense

I'm not seeing those route combinations at the start of games. Not seeing the Texas routes to Saquon. Start the game off with high percentage passes to your stars to get in rhythm. Preferably off of play action since the world is scared of Saquon.

Its baffling that they dont start under center and use PA

I knew AJ and Smith were going to sound off after this game.. they have been great about keeping it in this year but yesterday you could see their frustration boiling over..they were open early and often and Jalen wasn't letting go of the ball. Jalen's excuse for dropping to the ground was weak as hell also.. I'm telling you, you could put Jalen on 20 other teams and he wouldn't be a top 20 QB.

He’s a former all-pro player. The defense held them to just 16 points

Only bc Legette dropped the game winner

Agreed. He didn't want to throw the ball because he didn't want to get a penalty for a linemen downfield. That's a 5 yard penalty. You loss 9 yards on your slide idiot. He's a dumb f. Common sense

Really bad timing for AJ to start sulking and spouting off publicly in the middle of a nine game winning streak.  Yes he was open several times yesterday and Hurts didn't get him the ball but you'd like AJ to keep that frustration in the locker room.  Something Nick has to deal with right away.

Its not just him. Mailata sounded upset after the game. Smith pointed fingers. Hurts also pointed fingers.

If only Sweat could pull down a 170lb QB, smh - kid had vasoline on yesterday.

Qb1 should be pointing the fingers at himself

Even Devonta was gripping about the passing game

I mean honestly with our WRs why would any team play man??

just mix up c2,3 and 4

When a quiet Devonta grips about the passing game, it's a problem. Mailata as well

Thanks for posting. I was told we rarely had open receivers just earlier this morning.

It happens regularly, he just rarely takes advantage

Usually it’s a way to get another defender in the box, but yeah key the run and fall back into zone.

I do think to some extent yesterday was a sign of what can happen with these slow starts. The defense started well and forced a quick punt from Carolina. The offense then stalled once again and then the defense let up a fairly long drive that ended in a FG. I just think the slow starts on offense can lead to these tight close games. Weird things can happen in games and with Young they had a QB who was able to extend plays and make a bit of magic happen and suddenly you are in a game.
