I had a neighbor that was from San Diego and was a Chargers fan.  He was a good dude.

Is that neighbor in the room with us right now?

It's a great stadium. Weird because you go down after entering. But it really is a great place to see a game.

They had to limit the above ground height of the stadium because of the proximity to LAX.

I believe his name is Harvey, and he's a Púca.   And NcIggles' real name is "Elwood Dowd."

Much better venue than the coliseum. Coliseum is cool to go to a game to one but leaving that stadium at night is a lot to handle

I said the same damn thing lol

I said it after the ravens game and even going into it. I put it this way, Aj brown had his last target and catch in the ravens game in the 2nd quarter with 4:14 left. His next target and reception came with 1:26 left in the 2nd quarter against the panthers. Thats just over 4 quarters of him have 0 targets or receptions. Whether we want to blame hurts or Moore it’s absurd

Dude, the Coliseum is horrible. Went to the 2018 game there where we won with Foles at QB (didn't go in 2017 when Wentz blew out his knee). In 2018 it was a Sunday Night game, and...that's not a great part of town to be looking for an Uber. The Coliseum itself is a complete dump and falling apart.

The 2017 game against the Chargers was in a small soccer stadium in Carson. That was a great place to see a game. Like 30,000 seats IIRC, so great views.

I went to the wentz game and the following year. End at night time the wentz game and SNF the other game was just not fun. it’s in an awful area and you feel like there’s a good chance walking around in that area to your car that it might not be there or mugged walking to it. I think going to it is cool to see it once if you’ve never been there. Like you said horrible. At least Rodney Peete was in front of me for the wentz game. He talked to us before and at halftime. Super nice guy.

Potential game winner.  The Eagles would have had about 40 seconds and 3 timeouts to try to get into FG range and give Jake a chance to get himself right.

True... I don't play the what if games. I recall a 4th and short that led to a touch down that got batted in the air and some how still completed. Ish happens. I also recall that potential game winning receiver getting absolute annihilated early in the game and he wasn't right since lol.

When that happened, I thought we were going to lose. Getting a 4th down like that -- just figured it was one of those days.

It's a good problem to have but they need get Brown and Smith more involved. I'm sure they're going to force it to them now which they really shouldn't need to

They absolutely need to force it to them when healthy especially when Goedert isn't around. The superstar playmakers should get the bulk of the touches. Nothing has changed there. That's the recipe to an explosive offense.

No Bargaining Agreement. Most have that with their wives.

Oh I’m betting aj has at least 3 targets in the first quarter against the Steelers. I said this yesterday and the ravens games in terms of the passing game, it’s like watching us push a boulder up a hill when it should not be that hard with smith and aj out there.

Maybe but then why pay AJ and DeVonta? They gave them some pretty big contracts there but why do that if you are going to be so limited in the passing game?

Two reasons:

1.  You're never going to get equivalent value for guys like that on the trade market.  They still mean a lot to the team even if they're not putting up the numbers here that they might elsewhere.

2.  The frustration they're feeling now would be 100X worse, and much more likely to boil over, if they thought the lack of production was costing them money.  It's always smart to take care of receivers, more than any other position, as soon as you can.  It's the position most likely to be impacted by contract disputes.

Targets to Brown and Smith should just be a natural part of the gameplan

Brown, Smith, and Barkley should be the focus of the gameplan

To me, it's not so much about the targets as making them count. With the way we are running the ball, vertical shots should be there and AJ and Smitty are talented enough to beat anyone 1 on 1. We were doing this well earlier (NYG, CIN, JAX games), and Jalen's YPA reflected it. The last couple of games, he's been hesitant to throw it down the field. I hoped it was a function of Smitty being out, but he was even more hesitant this week. Power running and vertical shots can score a ton of points. But running the ball combined with captain checkdown, or sacks, won't get it done.

It looks like  Dickerson maybe expected  someone else  to be there to make that block. I wonder if he was coached to get the end and leave the LB.

No. Can't be. You always take the inside guy. When the All-22 comes up I'll post on it.
