If anyone was dumb enough to invest in a coin where the founder was most known for her bj skills, it was kind of their fault.

Jalen Hurts apparently injured his ring finger on his non throwing hand. Was seen shaking it throughout the game and had it wrapped post game.

Sounds like season ending to me

Am I reading this right? Our current offensive EPA is better than it was in '22? wtf?

A lot of stuff can sway EPA. Explosive plays being one of them. In 2022, the longest rush TD was 40, every other rush TD was 20 yards or lower mostly. This year Barkley has TD runs of 65, 40, 70, 72, 25.

Field position on scoring drives matters a lot too. I don’t feel like looking it up but 2022 we almost certainly had more turnovers and started drives on shorter fields compared to this year where it feels almost every drive starts from our 30 or less.

Its a lot more how you score than how much you score of a stat.

The stats say one thing but those numbers are pretty bogus when you consider how little we actually pass.

he’s probably close to last in yards

He’s first in wins and touchdowns, I’ll take it.

And missed open guys down the field

I’ll be the first to say that the Hurts criticism can go way overboard in the blog at times.  It’s year in/year out and par for the course.… Regardless of the QB.

That being said, it’s my belief that Hurts has taken the ‘protect the ball’ mantra to an extreme.  And I will say that I’d rather it be to this extreme, than him not caring about ball security at all.  We’ve all seen him be a borderline gunslinger before.  Now he’s going the other way.  He just needs to find a happy medium with this team’s top shelf running game and vastly improved defense.  I would gladly take a couple more INTs from him in exchange for a little bit more balance in how the explosive plays happen.  This team needs a couple of big Brown/Smith games on film before the playoffs.

I don’t really care about actual total passing yards… But there definitely needs to be more explosive plays in the passing game.  It’s the explosive plays that defensive coordinator’s fear.

Our explosive plays come in the run game, honestly at this point F an explosive passing game…we need a consistent and efficient one.  There is no plan for when they’re behind the chains, and that’s going to hurt them eventually.

Per Rueb, the last time a kicker went 0/5 from 50+ was 1994. Yikes.

Wow. That's all he said? Usually he goes a few layers deeper. Like... the last time a kicker went 0/5 from 50+ yards in an even year, had a RB rush for over 1500+ yards, and the QBs washing machine broke twice in the same year, that team won the Super Bowl.

Highest TD % on throws of his career.  Second to lowest interception % on throws of his career.

If we end up playing the Lions in the NFCCG, we need someone to interview Lomas Brown for a prediction on the outcome of the game...

I could not disagree more… There needs to be an explosive play threat in the passing game at all times.  And in order to have that threat, you have to have shown that it’s possible on enough of a routine basis.  If the final four games of this season are a carbon copy of this last one, the Eagles could possibly be one and done in the playoffs.  If they managed to win one, they certainly will not make it to the big game.

I truly think that the issue with Jalen right now is that he is trying to being too efficient

I’m not saying finding that happy medium is easy for him (which is why I think his critics can be overly harsh at times).  But he has to find it.

No one does. It’s a condition. He can’t help himself.

Rodney Peete did his old team dirty that day.  The Hail Mary TD to end the first half was amazing.  ***chef's kiss***

And... the proper Kelly Green!

Both Smith and Brown have a proven ability to catch a deep ball over the top; it's a play the Eagles should be throwing at least 2-3 times per game -- likely more, considering how much help the defense is bringing down to try to slow down Saquon.

If you're not turning it loose and throwing it, you're not keeping the defense honest and making them guard the entire field.  You're also not giving yourself the chance at a free 40-50 yards of free field position on a DPI call.

I'm more than ready to move on from AJ after this season.  Brandon Graham casually dropping bombs of info that AJ has personal issues with Hurts and it is being unprofessional with it.

This.  Don’t need 2 star receivers with how little they throw the ball

We aren’t trading aj brown next offseason as it’s 31 mil in dead money but it’s also 14 mil against the cap. Unless they just get some ridiculous offer i don’t see that happening
