That would be good.  But, talk is cheap.  They need to do it on the field.

9 wins in a row.

Off a sloppy performance, fully expect a big game. Also, the Steelers had their own revenge game last week AND have the Ravens next week. We're their less important game.

Clearly a trap game for the Steelers

Damn, top 5. My dreams of adding him to the stable can die.

We're getting Tom Brady on Sundays game.

Thanks a lot, Brandon.

Remember yesterday when someone blamed the pass pro for Hurts struggling

Dang, what did he do to his knee? He was one of the few guys playing well this year.

Hate to see an injury derail a player. Even if it’s the cowboys. Might just be the timing of the injury. I know brooks the RB for the panthers is also expected to miss 2025 with a torn acl

Yeah, they are killing it, alright.🤣

Way to lose their first round pick to get bounced in round one....IF they make it

He's one helluva player. Bummed to see this, even if he is a Cowboy. He's going to be a force for years to come if he's healthy.

Was he not a facilitator in 2022 and 2023?

I find it funny how fans here have yelled at the team to "just run the ball" or give it to Saquon all season, and now that that's all they do, they're begging for Hurts to throw it lol.   As I said earlier, if Hurts has another game like this past weekend vs. the Steelers, I'll be concerned.

That's not exactly what's happening though

Complaints came when Hurts is sacked or runs for it for little to no gain when Brown or someone else was open to throw to

It seems they want to keep Jalen at about 24 passes and under.   I say up it to closer to 30 and that should open things up a little more.  With that said, I don't want them to change their formula right now because it's working.  We are a very balanced team with this strategy.   I think changing the playcalling early will fix this.  Get the passing game going early is the key.    Quick passes or slants to AJ off the bat to get things going.  What I find funny about the Panthers discourse is going into the game it was "The Panthers have a terrible Run Defense, we must run".  The Eagles rush for 209 yards and all the talk is the passing game, lol.

This.

I like him around 25 passes and no more unless the game calls for it.  I just find it funny that the offense has found it's identity, is winning, yet certain fans want them to have a different identity.  They've won 9 straight and beat Baltimore pretty convincingly with this formula, but fans want blow outs due to "the weapons" and want us to be like the Lions. The Chiefs are tied for the best record and they've been scraping by in each game, and if they win a 3rd SB, no one's going to care how they won their games.

Literally, this story last night came from within an organization because Brandon Graham opened his mouth last night. What is Brandon Graham? A player on the Eagles. That is the definition of getting information from somebody within that organization. Lol

Also those stories came out end of season and in the past when things were falling apart.

I hate to break it to you guys reporters when it’s not one or two but multiple are hearing the same thing, it’s not them making up leaks and stories. I know in the eyes of the blog the media is much easier to blame them than hold the people accountable talking to them.

when the hurts/sirianni rift news came out multiple reporters heard the same thing. Ditto with the internal concerns within the organization. No offense I don’t think the reporters are in a group chat together being like "hey you know what could get us all really good stories for a while, we just make things up about the internal concerns the organization has with him”.

Yea that’s why the leaks came out after the season was over

There’s a huge difference between saying "a leak from inside the Eagles organization” which insinuates it’s coming from an official source like the front office, management, coaching, ownership etc etc vs a disgruntled player or two.

Players speak out all-the-time; that’s nothing new but to say that a player speaking out (or leaking something) is coming from "inside the Eagles organization” is blatantly deceptive because it’s insinuating that it’s actually coming from someone "higher up/management/a coach/official source, etc” vs just a player.

People (not you) saying they wish the coaches would give Tanner McKee a go unironically and not being mocked mercilessly for the rest of time for suggesting a man who couldn't beat out Kenny Pickett for the back up job might be the answer.

I think Pickett has 2 advantages over McKee

1. Pickett has started NFL games. McKee has not.

2. Howie traded for him. Howie loves him some first round picks for (relative) cheap.

We don't know how either of them look at practice.

The Blog is overflowing with cheapness right now. Sunday may quiet it a bit.

Yeah, and every QB makes mistakes or a bad play/throw each game.  Burrow had a few last night, and even Allen with his historic 6TD game had a number of really bad passes.

There’s been reporters that said in their stories it came within inside the organization and from higher ups at times. Ej smith on a podcast confirmed the original internal concerns on hurts story came out from someone within the organization.

Shame on you for every story you don’t want to believe or you don’t like, you revert to strictly blame the big bad media. every. Time.

Why do people always revert to bringing up other teams QBs to justify the QB on their own team?

Yeah that's strange to me too.  I mean the Eagles have only won 9 Straight games 3 other times ever.   What is the saying, "If it isn't broke"..... I mean they found a nice spot with this Jalen 24 passing thing and running with Saquon.  This is our identify.  Yes Smiity and AJ's numbers are going to be down this year. But they have both missed time this year so their numbers were going to take a hit anyway.   We are doing this differently this time.  I remember Jalen lit up the Super Bowl score board, had over 300 yards passing but we still lost.   If we win the Super Bowl with this formula I would not be upset at all.  It's working.  Again as I said, change the playcalling early but keep Jalen passing level the same or only increase it slightly.

I was saying the leaks about Jalens leadership came after the season was over, not in the middle of them playing. I have no idea what any of this has to do with that.

It’s cause I said the story last night came from Graham. Which last night’s incident is still consider within the organization. He came out and volunteered it. All the media did was listen to him

that said been other stories where either EJ Smith, Berman, McLane or other reporters have said it’s stuff has come from inside the organization and sometimes even alluding to higher up people within the organization. Reality is it’s much easier to blame the media then those who speak to the media

Because people make the argument that only Hurts makes these mistakes, and then they gush over other QB's in the league that do the same things.  I just saw someone saying they'd take Geno Smith over Hurts. Earlier in the season people were fangirls for Jayden Daniels, Kirk Cousins (LMAO), and Kyler Murray over Hurts.  Ya'll are WILD!

Did I see it here, or on X, that Saquon Barkley has been tackled at the 1 yard line 10 times and all 10 times have led to Hurts sneak TDs? That's insane.

If Barkley gets those 10 TDs, he's got 21 TDs in 13 games.

On the flipside, Hurts goes from 13 down to 3. Adding that to his 16 TD passes, how would we feel about the QB producing 19 total TDs in 13 games?

From an individual standpoint, things look a lot different. Barkley, with 1600 yards and 21 TDs would be a runaway MVP candidate.

They gave it to Saquon twice in a row at the goal line during the Panthers game and he couldn't get in. Give it to Hurts and it's automatic.

This whole "who cares we're winning" is the same BS we were saying last year when this team was 9-1 and cruising.

It's not that Hurts *can't* do it, it's that he's *not* doing it.  He's missing reads, taking way too long to go through his progressions, taking off way too early, and making dumb mistakes that veteran franchise quarterbacks aren't supposed to make.

The fact that we've won in spite of that doesn't mean that it's still not a problem.
